Servicing , overhauling and periodical maintenance of DG sets of following capacity including cleaning internal parts thoroughly , replacement oil filter, fuel filter, air cleaner, turbo charger etc and making smooth valve seats of inlet and exhaust valves including replacement of minor parts such as nut, bolts, washers, banjo nut, bolts, washers, locking nuts, circle clips, `O’ Rings ,Gasket, main cylinder head joint screws, stud small springs as deemed necessary or ordered complete and reassembling after replacement of unserviceable parts including painting with one coat of synthetic enameled paint of existing color after removing dust, dirt and oil by caustic soda etc, commissioning and testing on connected load complete specified and directed. (Note : The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced spare parts which are catered in schedule for supply only shall be measured and paid for separately. however essential parts/work which is required for sound engineering practice will be deemed to include in the coated rate of this item). Lubricant oil filter element complete with plane washer, 'O' ring etc . Make-Mico/flit guard/donalson (a) DG set of Capacity 25/30/40 KVA .

(b) Ditto all as per item No. 2.01 but DG set of Capacity 60/63/75 KVA .

(c) Ditto all as per item No. 2.01 but DG set of Capacity 100/125/200 KVA .

Micro super Fuel filter & Pre filter element complete with plane washer, 'O' ring etc. Make-Mico/flit guard/donalsona. (a) DG set of Capacity 25/30/40 KVA .

(b) Ditto all as per item No. 2.04 but DG set of Capacity 60/63/75 KVA .

(c) Ditto all as per item No. 2.04 but DG set of Capacity 100/125/200 KVA .

Draining-out old spoiled lubrication oil from DG Sets of 10 to 200 KVA capacity of any make, cleaning thoroughly the sump including supply and filling lubrication oil SAE-40 into the chamber/sump all as specified and directed. Make SERVO OF IOC/HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM/BPCL

Supply and fixing flexible pipe, filter to lub oil cooler including banjo bolt washers, copper asbestos washer, spring washer nuts and bolts complete all as specified. (a) DG set of Capacity 25/30/40 KVA .

(b) Ditto all as per item No. 4 but DG set of Capacity 60/63/75 KVA .

(c) Ditto all as per item No. 4 but DG set of Capacity 100/125/200 KVA .

M&L for rewinding of alternator with `F' class copper wire as per existing after dismantling the old coil cleaning throughly and winding with super enameled copper conductor of existing size and gauge , varnishing drying complete including transportation from site to workshop and back after repairing and refixing the same in DG set with testing DG set Capacity 25/30/40KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Disconnecting and taking down old unserviceable self starter, 12Volt and dismantling complete for repair and replacement of the Following parts :- (a) Armature – 01 No (b) Solenoids switch – 01 No. (c) Field coils – 01 No. (d) Commentator – 01 No. (e) Carbon brush – 02 Nos. (f) Bendex assembly – 01 No

M&L for complete wiring of DG Set control panel with suitable existing size of copper multistranded wire of any core incl taking down old unsv wiring of Capacity 20-200 KVA

M&L for opening tappet cover of engine any make of following capacities and carrying out work as under:- (i) Checking and adjusting of tappet clearance. (ii) Cleaning cylinder and piston head by removing carbon deposits (iii) Checking general condition of the engine (iv) Checking and adjustment of operating parameters (v) Checking and adjustment of fuel timing (vi) Checking and adjustment of fault warning system (vii) Checking and adjustment of fasteners (viii) Replacement of the damaged gasket and re-assembling of tappet cover and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repalacement of Power Contactor 4 Pole 100 Amp ,440 volt complete all as directed.

M & L for Door joint and handle locks arrangement for any size/capacity DG set complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix including taking down existing un-serviceable self starter 12 volt for 200 KVA DG Set complete with all accessories such as solenoid switch, control wiring, nuts, bolts, washers, all as specified and directed. As per existing make

Disconnecting and taking down old unserviceable Flue pump assembly for repair and over hauling, dismantling the complete flue pump assembly filling metalling, grindings and turning the bearing housing and impeller housing including replacement of the minor spares such as nuts bolts, plain washers, spring washers, circlips, spacer, oil seal, joints etc. Assembling the water pump assembly, fixing back at removed place, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. (Other spare parts shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item hereinafter).

Supply and fixing battery leads, heavy duty copper stranded conductor with brass terminal and thimble 1.5 mtr long all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing brass terminal for batteries including taking out and removing existing unserviceable terminals complete all as specified.

Disconnecting and taking down carefully radiator assembly complete with all accessories such as worn out nuts, bolts, washers, joints, rubber hoses, spring washers etc ,complete all as specified.

Dismantling complete radiator assembly, cleaning and de-scaling of chocked water tubes and jackets of radiator, cleaning the fins of radiator with acid including brazing of worn out copper tubes, body and fins and making complete the water body leak proof and testing by pressure including replacement of the worn out minor spares such as plain washers, spring washers, screws nuts, bolts, joints, rubber hoses with clip etc all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for top up coolent for DG sets complete all as specified and directed. Make: CASTROL - RADICOOL HEAVY DUTY COOLANT or Equivalent of SERVO , VEEDOL

M&L for reconditioning of existing unserviceable battery 12 Volt 180 Amp hours by cutting and removing top cover cutting and removing burnt plates (cells) and draining out old electrolyte liquid replacing cell/plates of existing sizes , refilling electrolyte up to the required level with specific gravity i.e. 1250mm including charging the battery for 72 Hours and trickle discharge in and repeat the process of charging with testing complete to the entire satisfaction.

M&L in repair/replacement for 2.5 mm thick Fire Retardant, High breakdown (Dielectric Strength = 11 KV), solventless, non toxic, Epoxy electric floor coating hardner & resin bonded at VCB Room at Main Power House. The Coating is to be provided in Blue/Grey colour and shall be cured at ambient temperature for obtaining durable and smooth finish. The coating shall confirm to Class A, possess good chemical & physical resistance, properly bond to the surface made available and as per the satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge.

Disconnecting all incomming /outgoing electric conenction carefully of fully automatic servo voltage stabilizer having capacity 20 to 100 KVA and transport to work shop for repair/servicing and including, dismantling top cover of stabilizer and taking out the coil, drain out the transformer oil and refilling after dehydration of transformer oil, cleaning internaly, including replacement of unserviceable body nut,bolts, washers,top gasket of cork sheet 6mm thick,replacement of internal circuit wiring if any suitable size of copper wire and painting of stabilizer with heat resistant smoke grey synthetic enameled paint including preparation of old rusted surfaces and writting MES NO,SM MES No,capacity,Ser No,Location etc and reinstallation/Connecting electric connection with replacement of proper size Aluminium lugs and testing on full load at site (a.Spare parts shall be measured and paid separatly.

Taking out main coil of voltage stabilizer 20 to 100 KVA for repair/rewinding with super enamaled copper winding wire of existing gauge including PVC insulated sheet sleeve,varnishing etc all as required and refixing to the stabilizer after testing all as required at site or directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, connecting to galvanised iron connecting to and including galvanised iron strip 32mm X 6mm (as earth lead strip), by means of bolt, nuts, check nuts and washer of GI and GI strip protected by provision of GI pipe light grade, 40mm bore including provn of concrete pit in plain cement concrete M-15, type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates with 40mm thick cover of reinforced cement concrete M-15, reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 4 kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 25x25x3mm with lugs 2 Nos and with 6mm dia mild steel bar handle made to shape, galvanised iron medium grade 20mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom 1.75 metre long placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt and charcoal filling, test point made out of phosphorous bronze with fixing arrangement, funnel, wire mesh and including earth work in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre, all as per electrical plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 Part-I and connection to earth test point all as specified and testing on completion. NOTE :- Item of earthing includes the cost of 7.5 metre long galvanised iron earth wire 4mm size and protection pipe of 15mm bore galvanised iron light grade and earth work.
