Providing, laying WBM (G-II) 53 mm to 22.4 mm with screening of Type ‘A’ in layer of 75mm each, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications (Based on HSR 17.23.2) Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by the engineer

Providing and laying surface dressing as wearing course in single coat using crushed stone aggregates of specified size on a layer of bituminous binder VG – 10 using aggregate 13 mm nominal size 1.00 cum and bitumen 0.10 MT Per 100 Sqm & laid on prepared surface and rolling with 8-10 tonne smooth wheeled steel roller complete as per technical clause 509 of MORT&H specifications:19 mm nominal chipping size, with bitumen (Based on HSR 17.32.3)

Providing and applying tack coat with penetration grade bitumen VG - 10 using bitumen pressure distributor @ 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/ granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per technical clause 503 of MORT&H specifications (HSR.17.26.2)

Providing, laying and rolling of open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of crushed stone aggregates of specified grading premixed in a continuous type of hot mix plant of appropriate capacity not less not less than 75 tonne per hour, with bituminous binder VG - 10 @ 1.46 kg per sqm, laid with Paver Finisher Mechanical and rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades complete as per technical clause 510 of MORT&H specifications. (Based on HSR 17.33.1) Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. Note:-Before laying PC on existing black top all cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification (5th edition) clause No. 3004.3. which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2 and 3004.3.3 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for fog seal/or crack filling/ or patch work but no payment on this account shall be made as fog seal/or crack filling/ or patch work is/are incidental to work.

Providing and laying of premix sand seal coat premixed in continuous type HMP of appropriate capacity not less than 75 tonnes/ hours using specified fine aggregates and penetration grade bitumen @0.68 kg/sqm laid to specified levels, grade and cross fall complete as per technical clause 511 of MORT&H specifications.(HSR HSR 17.36.3)

Construction of embankment (on berms) with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 as per technical clause 305 of MORT&H specifications (HSR.17.7)

Brick work with common burnt clay non modular bricks of class designation 10.5 in foundation and plinth in cement Mortar 1:4. (HSR 7.21.1)

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means in all types of soil (including rock) and getting out and disposal of excavated earth upto any lead and lift, as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Based on HSR 4.12.1).

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade 1 :4: 8 with stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size excluding the cost of centering and shuttering, complete in all respect. (HSR 6.1.6)

Brick work with common burnt clay modular bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in: (HSR 7.20) Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) (HSR 7.20.1)

Providing and Laying 600 mm dia Reinforced Cement Concrete Pipe NP3 prestressed Concrete Pipe for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection works, backfilling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets 1000 mm dia, as per clause 2900 of MORT&H specifications. (HSR 17.61.1) Note :- Contractor shall supply bill of manufacture of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released.

12 mm cement plaster of mix: 1 :3 (HSR 11.5.2)

Note :- i) In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. ii) In case of any difference in the unit of any Non – schedule items depicted in this DNIT and the conventional unit of that N.S. item as per practice in this Department, the conventional unit as per practice shall be applicable.
