Cleaning and up keeping of Service Building including: a) Cleaning of floors by brooming and mopping, walls ceiling, partitions, chairs, tables, almirahs, staircases, verandahs, balconies, window glass panes, small drain adjoining plinth protection etc. once in a day (b) Cleaning of bathroom / toilets thrice in a day with water, detergent, phenyl etc. (detergents and other toiletaries will be paid separatly) (c) Cleaning and brooming of outside floor areas like chequered tiles, IPS floors etc, including applying water, detergents etc on daily basis as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Annual maintenance of lawns, gardens, flower beds, plants & orchard areas in GM Office premises, coal testing laboratory and developing garden in left out areas, plantation of seasonal plants and maintenance of the same as per the instruction of EIC. SCOPE OF WORKS: (a) Contractor shall maintain existing lawns, flower beds, plants, gardens, orchard area. (b) Contractor will prepare new lawns, flower beds & gardens as and when required by Engineer-in-charge. Digging, excavating and levelling the ground is to be done wherever required. (c) Contractor shall be responsible for planting new plants like hedges, saplings, seasonal flowers etc by digging pits and maintaining the same (Cost of the plants to be paid separately to the agency). (d) The fertilizers, manures, pesticides etc are to be applied in the lawn, garden and orchard as and when required. (The cost of fertilizers, manures, pesticides etc shall be paid separately to the agency). (e) Water will be made available at some points by the department and the contractor will use the water by using pipes which will be procured by the contractor. (f) The pump set for borehole water will be operated and used by the contractor. The pump in working condition will be handed over to the contractor, which shall be returned to the department in working condition on expiry of contract. (g) Maintenance work as desired by Engineer-in-charge on priority basis has to be strictly followed by the contractor. (h) The contractor will look after the work and will maintain in coordination with the department and will attend to the complaint. (i)The lawn area, garden area, orchard area is to be kept clean from rubbish, leaves, weeds and jungles. (j) Total Manpoer to be engaged 04 nos of unskilled Manpower. Note: Deduction will be made as per the prevailing labour rates on non deployment of manpower.
