Repairs to 10 cusec end suction pumping unit suction/delivery pipe with allied accessories installed inside pump station of lift irrigation scheme Johama by way of a) Dismantling of 300 mm dia. M.S suction pipe along with foot valve by way of cutting rusted nuts & bolts with the help of gas cutter, then earth excavation manually to expose pipe along with foot valve inside the earth to lift it to working place with the help of chain pulley block. The job then involves repairs to 300mm dia. M.S suction pipe by way of welding work & replacement of rusted 300 mm dia. M.S flanges (04 no’s) with thickness 8 mm, leather washers (05 no), Nut/bolts (10 kg) for the completion of work. Then fitted suction pipe back to its actual position by way of tightening nuts & bolts with the help of skilled labour. b) Repairs to 300 mm dia. M.S foot valve hinges, weight plate, strainer & welding to damaged area by way of welding /patching etc. for the completion of work. The job then involves p/f of new washers, nuts& bolts, required for the completion of work. After proper repair of foot valve at site, fitted it properly back to its actual position. c) Dismantling of damaged 250 mm dia. rubber armoured pipe from their existing position inside the station ,with the help of skilled/ manual labours and dragging out from the station and staking at proper place in the premises of the scheme .All the , tools & tackles and required labours is to be arranged by the firm. d) Shifting/loading /unloading of departmental 250 mm dia. MS pipe of length 12 Mtr. from lift irrigation scheme Delina Ghat to the road side with the help of manual labours then to the LIS Johama in private load carrier and placed in the work place by manually & fitted it in damaged portion by way of welding work. The job also involves replacement of damaged/rusted 300 mm dia. flanges (04no) with thickness 8mm , Nuts & bolts (10 kg), leather washers (05 no) for the completion of work. The pipe shall be provided with two coats of anti-corrosive paint. e) . Providing and fitting of TC- 14 coupling set complete along with flexible rubber tyre. The job also includes the charge for taking of dimensions at site and then boring of holes at workshop to the coupling halves which shall match with size of shaft of pump and motor. f) Providing & fitting of nuts & bolts for pumping units & base frame eight kg. g) Repairs to the leakage’s (250cm) along 300mm dia. M.S rising main & base frame at various cracked portions of pipe, pipe flanges, end to end joints, rusted bolts etc. by way of multiple weld runs, using M.S filler material and using appropriate sized of M.S plate of suitable thickness wherever required to make joint strong and leak proof. h) All tools & tackles like D.G set, welding set, Gas cutter, load carrier, manual labours/ skilled welder shall be arranged by contractor.
