Dismantling and transportation of existing 11kV panels: The scope of work includes rack out bulk oil circuit breakers from panels, properly marking and disconnecting power cables/ control cables/earth cables/motor heater cables of panels, disconnecting inter panel power/earth bus bars, disconnecting inter panel control wirings, removing inter panel mechanical connections, removing foundation bolts from MS channels/MS plate/concrete floor, removing foundation channels if necessary, transporting the panels/foundation channels/foundation plate and circuit breakers from first floor of Central substation to a temporary location as directed by the Engineer-in charge, removal and hand over of valuable items like bus bars/relays/meters/indications lamps from the old panel, draining oil in circuit breakers to oil drums, taking weighment of scrap items and transportation of scrap items to scrap yard. All removed items shall be handed over to Technician-in-charge. The contractor shall arrange necessary tarpaulin sheets to protect the panel from dust and rain till completion of removal of valuable items. The crane, lorry, lifting tackles, etc., required for handling and transportation of switchboard panels and scrap items from work site to scrap yard shall be arranged by the contractor. Supply of straight joining kit suitable for 11 kV, 3x 400 sq. mm cable: The scope of work includes supply of heat shrinkable straight joining kit suitable for 11 kV, 3x 400 sq. mm armoured cable. Acceptable Makes: Raychem/ 3M/ Denson.
Supply of straight joining kit suitable for 11 kV, 3x 300 sq. mm cable: The scope of work includes supply of heat shrinkable straight joining kit suitable for 11 kV, 3x 300 sq. mm armoured cable. Acceptable Makes: Raychem/ 3M/ Denson.

All necessary tools required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor.
Straight joining 11 kV, 3x300 sq.mm armoured cables: The scope of work includes carrying out straight joining of 11 kV, 3x300 sq.mm armoured cables using heat shrinkable type straight through joint kits supplied vide Sl.no.12 of this work schedule as per instruction of Engineer in Charge. All necessary tools required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor.
Straight joining of LT, armoured cables: The scope of work includes carrying out straight joining of LT cables of size up to 19 core, 2.5/4 Sq.mm cables using compound/heat shrinkable type straight through joint kits as per instruction of Engineer in Charge. Straight Joint Kit and all necessary tools and items required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor. Acceptable Makes for straight through joining kit: Raychem/ 3M/ Denson.
Supply of end termination kit suitable for 11 kV, 3x 400 sq. mm cable: The scope of work includes supply of heat shrinkable indoor end termination kit suitable for 11 kV, 3x 400 sq. mm armoured cable. Acceptable Makes: Raychem/ 3M/ Denson.
Supply of end termination kit suitable for 11 kV, 3x 300 sq. mm cable: The scope of work includes supply of heat shrinkable indoor end termination kit suitable for 11 kV, 3x 300 sq. mm armoured cable. Acceptable Makes: Raychem/ 3M/ Denson.
Indoor end termination of 11 kV, 3Cx400 sq.mm armoured cables: The scope of work includes carrying out indoor end termination of 11 kV, XLPE/ PVC / PILC cables of size 3Cx400 sq.mm using heat shrinkable end termination kit supplied vide Sl.no.16 of this work schedule as per instruction of Engineer in Charge. Cables shall be properly clamped to the supporting MS angle.
Indoor end termination of 11 kV, 3Cx300 sq.mm armoured cables: The scope of work includes carrying out indoor end termination of 11 kV, XLPE/ PVC / PILC cables of size 3Cx300 sq.mm using heat shrinkable end termination kit supplied vide Sl.no.17 of this work schedule as per instruction of Engineer in Charge. Cables shall be properly clamped to the supporting MS angle.
Termination of armoured, LT cables of size up to 19 core, 2.5/4/6 Sq.mm of size: The scope of work includes providing holes at gland plate, concrete chipping/cutting, making holes in concrete if required, carrying out glanding and termination of armoured, LT cables of size up to 19 core, 2.5/4/6 Sq.mm of size using proper glands and lugs as per the 'as built drawing' submitted by the panel manufacturer. Ferrules shall be provided in the wires. Ferrule printing machine shall be arranged by the contractor. Cable lugs, suitable gland and all other items required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor. Cables for inter-panel is excluded from this work.
Inter-panel wiring: The scope of work includes laying, wiring, glanding, termination and testing of control cables for DC Aux. supply, AC PT supply, Trip status to common annunciator, interlocks etc. in a single panel of newly erected 11kV panel using proper glands and lugs as per the 'as built drawing' and 'inter-panel wiring diagram' submitted by the panel manufacturer. Ferrules shall be provided in the wires. Ferrule printing machine shall be arranged by the contractor. Cables will be supplied by FACT. Cable lugs and all other items required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor.
Supply of MS angle 50x50x8mm: The scope of work includes supply of M.S. Equal Angle (ISA) of size 50x50x8mm as per IS:2062.
Supply of MS flat 30x6mm: The scope of work includes supply of M.S. flat of size 30x6mm as per IS:2062.
Fabrication, painting and erection of cable supports and ladder type cable tray: The scope of work includes fabrication and erection of cable supports for each panel to clamp the power cables, and cable tray of size up to 1000mm using MS angle 50x50x8mm supplied vide Sl.no.22 and MS flat 50x8mm supplied vide Sl.no. 23. Loading/unloading, transportation and safe custody etc. is in contractor’s scope. The fabricated cable rack supports shall be welded to the structures/ insert plates at various levels of the substation building. The contractor shall provide sufficient anchor bolt of size not less than 12 X 100 mm at an interval of 1 meter for fixing the cable tray support if structures/insert plates are not present. Vendor shall arrange welding rod and cutting gas required for the work. The work shall be carried out as per the instructions of the Electrical Engineer -in-charge. All fabricated items shall be painted with two coats of anti-corrosive epoxy paint (grey colour) over two coats of suitable primer.
Supply and installation of Rubber Mat: The scope of work includes supply and installation of Electrical insulating, 11kV grade, Conforming to IS 15652:2006, with the following specifications: Colour: Black Class: B (11kV Grade) Length: 2000mm, Width : 1000mm Thickness: 2.5mm + / -10%
Supply and installation of danger board and safety gloves: The scope of work includes supply of 11KV danger board- 2 no. and 2 pair of Electrical Safety Hand Gloves with following specifications: Applicable Standards: IS 4770:1991/ IEC 60903:2014 / BS EN 60903:2003 with latest amendments. Construction: Seamless Type, Soft and Flexible.
Site testing: The scope of work includes measuring conductor resistance and taking insulation resistance after completing the installation of each sections of the switchboard. Insulation resistance shall be measured at 5000V. Conductor resistance shall be measured using micro-ohm meter. All measuring instruments required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor and test report shall be submitted.
Liaisoning work: The scope of work includes preparation of documents required for obtaining approval from CEA and liaisoning with CEA inspection.
