Construction of Gushaini-Pekhri road to Tinder village Km. 0/00 to 5/535 under PMGSY-IV, Batch-I for the year 2025-26

Excavation in soil in hilly areas by mechanical/manual means, in all heights and depths, in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damages to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and levels as shown on the drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in conformity with the requirements of MoRD technical specification for Rural Road, Section. 300 & 1600 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites safe manner and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load and animal transport and mechanical means along with its leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, tools, equipment’s and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. During the mobilization period, contractor should take the advanced x-sec in 15 m (fifteen metre) interval of whole road length in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge or his representative. In case the advanced x-section has been taken in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge representative, in that case the same has to be got approved from Engineer-in-Charge. The land for dumping sites shall be arranged by the contractors himself and nothing extra shall be paid on this account, filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or 4432.51 (Four Thousand Four Hundred Thirty Two point Five One) cubic metre at the rate of Rs 300/-only (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic meter amounting to Rs. 13, 29,753.00 only shall be effected on prorata basis in all circumstances. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with all leads as per MORD Technical Specification section 300 complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with in all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading by mechanical means to required slope and compacted with three wheel 80-100 (eighty to one hundred) kN (kiloNewton) static roller to meet requirement of Table 300.2 complete as per MORD technical Specification section 300 & 1600 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Providing, laying and spreading Material for sub base course on a prepared sub grade, adding the designed quantity of cement to the spread Material, mixing in place with rotavator, grading with the motor grader and compacting with the road roller at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strength and to form a layer of sub-base Quantity of cement assumed as 4% (Four Percent) of quantity of crushed rock by weight Cement Treated Crushed Rock or combination as per clause 403 and Table 400.4 as per the entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.
