The bidder is required to work-out total requirement of each item of the Greenhouse as per below details/specifications and give his cost-offer along with AMC and any other costs, whatsoever:-
Greenhouse Structure • Gutter connected A frame houses, 48 m x 29.16 m, totalling 1400 m² with two independent growing zones -one for propagation and second for hydroponics. • Gutter height above the ground is 4.3 m. • The greenhouse gutters should be oriented at least 15 degrees off North/South to ensure optimal movement of shadows when the roof is retracted. • Design is based on the houses being installed on a straight plane or grade. The maximum slope across the house and gable end is 3.3% and is 4% along the gutter. • All posts are either square or rectangular hollow structural steel. • All posts are bolted to hot dipped galvanized stubs which are set into the concrete footings. • All fasteners are imperial.
Retractable Roof System • Roofs move from truss to truss. • Roofs are powered by gear motors. • The retractable roof is suspended from heavy-duty hooks, that "snap on" to stainless steel suspension wires. • To create the maximum greenhouse effect, roofs are made with RC02 clear, UV stabilized, woven and coated polyethylene. • Applicable perimeter and zone seals are included.
Retractable Cooling and Heat Retention • One separate layer of retractable curtain system. • An internal retractable curtain system for cooling and heat retention. • Proper design of structure to improve cooling, ventilation, and heat retention capabilities. • Help reduce condensation on the underside of the roof covering during cool nights (minimal impact if curtain is porous to air). • The curtain system is to be designed for indoor and outdoor use in wind conditions up to 60 kmph in the covered position. The system utilizes many of the same components that are used on the retractable roof systems. • The curtains will travel from truss to truss and have a flat profile • The curtains are suspended using the same heavy-duty hooks as used in the roof. • The curtain is made using: Covering material for summer cooling and heat retention– fire retardant, clear UV stabilized, water porous woven polyethylene providing approximately 85% diffused light transmission. Sealing at each truss is created by the leading edge of the curtain overlapping the rear edge of the adjacent curtain.
