Heat Exchanger Tube Testing: The SOR rates will be inclusive of the costs of complete Testing Crew (including ASNT Level II/ Level III qualified technicians & helpers etc.), suitable Testing Equipments, Accessories and Consumables required for the testing.

Eddy Current Testing (ECT) of Heat Exchanger Tubes

Remote Field Eddy Current Testing (RFET) of Heat Exchanger Tubes

Near Field Testing (NFT)/ Internal Rotary Inspection System (IRIS) Testing of Heat Exchanger Tubes

Mobilization + demobilization charges for each Round Trip to/from HURL Gorakhpur for complete Testing Crew along with Testing Equipments, Accessories and Consumables for ECT or RFET or NFT or IRIS.

Fabrication of Calibration Tubes for ECT/ RFET/ NFT/ IRIS. Raw tubes will be provided by HURL Gorakhpur as free supply items. Vendor will fabricate and supply the fabricated calibration tubes to HURL Gorakhpur. The cost of the transportation of Raw Tubes from HURL to Contractor’s works will be borne by HURL and the cost of the transportation of Fabricated Calibration Tubes from Contractor’s works to HURL will be borne by the Contractor.

Ultrasonic Flaw Detection (UFD), Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time-Of-Flight Diffraction (TOFD) Testing of Welding Joints The SOR rates will be inclusive of the costs of complete Testing Crew (including ASNT Level II/ Level III qualified technicians and helpers etc.), suitable Testing Equipments, Accessories and Consumables required for the testing.

Ultrasonic Flaw Detection (UFD) at High Temperature

Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time-Of-Flight Diffraction (TOFD) Testing at Ambient Temperature

Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time-Of-Flight Diffraction (TOFD) Testing at High Temperature

Mobilization + demobilization charges for each Round Trip to/from HURL Gorakhpur for complete Testing Crew along with Testing Equipments, Accessories and Consumables for UFD or PAUT & TOFD

Fabrication of SS Material Calibration Blocks for UFD or PAUT & TOFD for specific piping/ equipments. Raw material will be provided by HURL Gorakhpur as free supply items. Vendor will fabricate and supply the fabricated calibration blocks to HURL Gorakhpur. The cost of the transportation of Raw Material from HURL to Contractor’s works will be borne by HURL and the cost of the transportation of Fabricated Calibration blocks from Contractor’s works to HURL will be borne by the contractor

Fabrication of Non-SS Material Calibration Blocks for UFD or PAUT & TOFD for specific piping/ equipments. Raw material will be provided by HURL Gorakhpur as free supply items. Vendor will fabricate and supply the fabricated calibration blocks to HURL Gorakhpur. The cost of the transportation of Raw Material from HURL to Contractor’s works will be borne by HURL and the cost of the transportation of Fabricated Calibration blocks from Contractor’s works to HURL will be borne by the Contractor.

In-Situ Metallography Testing: To carryout In-Situ Metallography of carbon steel/ stainless steel/ alloy steel materials at site with replica technique for assessment of Microstructure, Creep damage, Thermal degradation, Failure analysis, Hydrogen Embrittlement, Stress Corrosion Cracking, Intergranular Corrosion and Graphitization etc. The SOR rates will be inclusive of the costs of complete Testing Crew, suitable Testing Equipments, Accessories Consumables and Surface Preparation required for the testing.

In-Situ Metallography Testing

Mobilization + demobilization charges for each Round Trip to/from HURL Gorakhpur for complete Testing Crew along with Testing Equipments, Accessories and Consumables for Metallography Testing.

Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement of Equipments and Piping: The SOR rates will be inclusive of the costs of Technicians (ASNT Level II qualified) and Ultrasonic Thickness Meter for each technician. (Tentative requirement will be 4 Nos. technicians and 4 Nos. Ultrasonic Thickness Meters).

Technicians with Ultrasonic Thickness Meter for each technician. (1 Shift comprise of 12 working hours of 1 technician)

Mobilization + demobilization charges for each Round Trip to/from HURL Gorakhpur for 1 No. Technician along with 1 No. Ultrasonic Thickness Meter.

Manpower Supply: Supply of NDT Level-II technicians for miscellaneous NDT jobs like Dye Penetrant Testing, Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement, Hardness Measurement, Magnetic Particle Inspection etc. Minimum Qualification Diploma-Mechanical/ BSc-PCM, ASNT Level II qualified in RT, UT, DPT and MPI with minimum 5 years work experience. (Tentative requirement will be 5 Nos. technicians.).

NDT Level-II technicians (1 Shift comprise of 12 working hours of 1 technician)

Mobilization + demobilization charges for each Round Trip to/from HURL Gorakhpur for 1 No. Technician.
