Design, fabrication, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of barrel filter with a minimum diameter of 2200mm to remove turbidity and Iron of the system with suitable technology option using stainless steel 304 grade Vessel (minimum thickness should not be less than4 mm) with man hole and cover for easy inspection at top and an opening provision for media removing arrangement at bottom side with dummy arrangement , with capable of discharging water at 29.51 LPS (Designed daily supply 250m3 only) with a capacity to withstand the existing operating head, with best quality ISI mark Butterfly valves for easy back washing, rinsing and filtering with all necessary filter media with sufficient filtering capacity and capable of removing turbidity and Iron content to the permissible limit as per the CPHEEO norms including all civil, mechanical and plumbing works by connecting to the existing pumping main with suitable size of stainless steel pipe with flanged ends and specials required to deliver water to the existing reservoir using existing pump. All the exposed pipes shall be of stainless steel pipe with flanged ends. The wash water generated during back washing may be suitably disposed off using GI/PVC pipes to near by drains. The vessel may be suitably positioned anywhere along the pumping main route in order to make the operation and maintenance easy. The life period of the media supplied should be of minimum 3 years and the total head loss due to the filter supplied should not be more than 4.00 meters. The filter should be designed with a capacity to with stand 1.5 times of the above given parameters of discharge, head, turbidity and Iron content etc. The Water Treatment Plants installed on a suitable foundation and should be protected from weathering with the aid of a structured roof supported with four number of post made of GI pipes of size not less than 50mm in diameter firmly fixed in cement concrete at bottom(If necessary). The top covering include Zinc aluminium coloured corrugated sheets with minimum thickness of 0.63mm and with a height of 2.10m with overlaps of 300mm at ends clamped with GI hooks/crank bolts and nuts including plain washers, bitumen washers etc. complete over the 50mm x 25mm MS rectangle coated with best quality anticorrossive primer and epoxy paint, fixed suitably with appropriate fixers with in three rows spaced suitably for the total structure stability. The side cladding work with 4mm square mesh all-round the supports with front opening provision as per the instruction of the officer in charge. The quote must include the cost of materials and labour.
