Replacement of 2 MVA Power Transformer

Dismantling of 1.6MVA 11/.415KV transformer after disconnecting HT cable, LT busduct connections, control cables, neutral CT & earthing, main body earthing and NCT supports, etc. All unwanted control cables shall be removed and coiled. Removed transformers and accessories are to be transported to the stores or area earmarked by the concerned engineer. All works shall be done as per scope of work and specification

Modification in floor for collecting oil is done for new transformer and connect the drainage pipes to existing drainage line by providing suitable pipes and fitting , any modification in the floor for receiving the oil any part of the transformer and collection oil through the path to pipe and then to connect to the existing line. This shall include the surface preparation by providing RCC ( Approximately 1M3 ) sloped path to collection of oil to the drainage pipe, then connect to the existing drainage line towards to soak pit. All connected civil works by supplying required materials and fittings required for heavy duty PVC piping( Approx. 2Mtr 150mm dia PVC heavy duty pipes with bends). All works shall be done as per scope of work and specification

Preparation of foundation and inserts/ channel suitable to the dimensions of new transformer wheels/ mounting provisions including minor civil works for transformer. MS channel fixing and inserts fixing , etc ( approx. 80Kg- ISMC 200 x 75 - 3mtr ) and minor civil works by supplying all materials. After the completion of structural works, transformers shall be mounted on the frame and fixed properly by providing stoppers, etc. The transformers shall be picked from storage area safely , transported to the site and shall be mounted carefully. This work shall be carried out as per our specification and scope of work. All the materials required for the work shall be supplied by the tenderer. Transformers shall be supplied by the owner.

Supply and termination of 3x150 mm2 11KV UE XLPE cable Kit to HT porcelain bushings. HT indoor end termination kit shall be supplied by the contractor(Make- M-seal/ Raychem/ Denson)

Supply and termination of 3x240 mm2 11KV UE XLPE cable kit to HT porcelain bushings. HT indoor end termination kit shall be supplied by the contractor(Make- M-seal/ Raychem/ Denson)

Supply, erection , modification of Busduct shall be done by supplying suitable piece of bus trunking with busbars ( 2500A --1.5mtr with90 degree bend). Busduct system shall be modified to suit the top entry flange of the new transformer. This work shall be carried out as per the specification and scope of work.

New CTs 3000/5 shall be mounted in the incoming busbars of power control Centre with suitable fixing clamps. The existing 3 no's of CTs shall be removed and new 3 no's CTs shall be mounted. 6Nos. of current transformers supplied by owner and it shall be transported to site from stores.

Supply ,laying, dressing, clamping and termination of armoured copper control cables of the following sizes with double compression cable glands and copper lugs & clamping materials/ fasteners. Termination includes supply &mounting of terminals blocks( !2nos.TB for CT and 20 nos.TB for control) at PCC/HT Panel for new cables. Cables are to be laid between marshalling box of transformer to HT panel/PCC. etc. through walls and cable trenches. Earth pits and earthing conductors are to be checked for continuity, confirm the neutral earth from transformer and earth connections to the earth pit are in good condition, earth pit resistance are to measured individually, then connect the neutral earthing of the transformer to the concerned pit and inter- connection between the pit also to be carried out. Minor civil works related to this for putting the inspection cover suitably to earth pit shall be carried out. The total earthing system of SS1 is to be checked and confirm the continuity of the earthing conductors. The earth pit cover shall be duly painted and details of the pit number, resistance & due date shall be marked on that. Neutral and body earthing shall be done by supplying earth conductors of required size and to be connected firmly to the existing earth conductors. Copper earth flat conductor size 32x6mm 150 metres are to be supplied to connect neutral conductors as well as earth connection between earth pits and connection required for new installation body earthing. There are six no’s of earth pits in SS1 and three no’s exclusively for neutral ground earthing, other three no’s of pits are interconnecting pits of SS1. Supply of one earth pit electrodes (copper plate earth) and connected materials shall be supplied by the contractor. In which one pit are totally damaged, this has to reconstructed and connected to the SS1 earthing grid. This work shall be carried out as per scope of work and specification.

Filling up of oil in the transformer tank/ conservator to the required level and filtration of oil as per standards. Filtration equipment shall be under the scope of contractor. Oil shall be filtered and circulated as per standard manufactures “Erection and commissioning instructions "This work shall be carried out as per the specification and scope of work. Oil shall be supplied by TTP

Testing and commissioning of new transformer and submitting test reports as per the scope of work and specification.

SITC of Lightning stroke counter as per specification& drawing

SITC of Test Link with GI Box along with other hardware and accessories as per drawing enclosed.

SITC of 25X3mm tinned copper strip with Brass saddle, spaces and stainless steel hardware.

SITC of Vertical air termination (Lightning Discharge Receiver) -Ø 25mm,L=800mm Tinned Copper rod with GI Pipe 50mm Dia. 1000mm long as per drawing enclosed

Preparation of drawings, submitting & obtaining Statutory approval from KSEI for the both transformers installation & LA system (excluding all statutary fees).
