DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) including rubbish off the premises complete all specified and directed.

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or R.C.C.) any section, in natural / RCC ground including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground

Dismantling of fencing wire mesh any type

S & F Mild steel work in posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc., flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) duly tar painted and sanded the embedded portion of angle iron including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

All as Item No 04 above but except material

M & L for Cement Concrete Type C-2, 1:3:6 (40mm graded aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and as specified.

Supply only chain link MS galvanised fencing any size or type complete all as specified and directed Note:- Weight of chain link fencing shall be measured through BOO

Fixing only chain link MS galvanised fencing any size or type including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, exc 5cm but n.exc 10cm long and 16 to 20mm diameter of neck complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for MS round bars (Fe-410-W (Gde E-250) quality A or Fe-290 (Gde-E-165))) 10mm dia and over cut to Length bent to shape required incl cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns with an incl MS wire(Annealed not less than .90 mm Dia) or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surface of any description exc. 10 cm width or girth including preparation of new steel surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for one coat of synthetic enamel paint on old steel surface of any description exc. 10 cm width or girth including preparation of old steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surface of any description n. exc. 10 cm width or girth when unconnected with other painting or when painted in a different tint including preparation of new steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolt, including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc all as specified and directed.

Demolition of precast concrete articles and precast cement concrete block walling built in CM including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for precast cement concrete Block Masonary with solid blocks type C1 1:3:6 20mm graded stone aggregate exc 10cm in width and setting in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement or cement plaster, any description on bricks or stone walls etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 15mm thick rendering on brick or concrete surfaces in CM 1:4 including finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement but including mixing of WPC as manufracturer's instructions all as specified and directed. Note: Cost of WPC shall be deemded to be inclusive in quoted unit rate.

M & L for 15mm thick rendering on brick or concrete surfaces in CM 1:6 including finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of new plastered or un-plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of cement base paint over and including a coat of alkali resistant priming paint complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing cement concrete type B-1 (1:2:4) using 20mm graded stone aggregate, as in coping, bed blocks including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in surface channels and drain complete all as specified and directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement incl forms , moulds, mitred stopped ends etc.

Add or deduct for each 25mm girth or part thereof over or under 30 cm inner girth

M & L for 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in floors etc, finished rough to receive floor finishes complete all as specified and directed.

S & F chequered tiles rubber moulded decorative designed cement concrete tiles 25mm thick size of tiles as approved set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry with grey cement and pigments in floor over and including 15mm thick screed bed with cm 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of interlocking paver block laid bedded and pointed in any mortar of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for refixing of interlocking paver blocks with grey cement and pigment complete all as specified and directed. Note: Old serviceable tiles shall be obtained form above item No. 28

S & F machine pressed rubber moulded coloured precast conctete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80mm thickness M-40 Grade all as specified and directed.

M & L for 40 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm gradd stone aggregate as in floors for levelling course on existing cleaned surface etc for laying paver blocks, chequered tiles etc finished rough to receive floor finishes complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for sand filling under floors or in foundation including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for.

S & F Bands, straps, supports or stays for rainwater, ventilating pipes, including bolts, if required: hooks (stay), heavy, for large gates; hook and pintle hinges: large hasps and staples; chains; hand made sliding bolts; clamps; hold fasts; wall ties; hooks for hanging fans; plain angle cleats for securing purlins to wood trusses or rafters; knee piece inserts; two way and three way straps, plate washers and similar small articles conforming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165 including reiveting or welding or fixing with screw bolts etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Framed work such as grills, gratings, etc. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work con- forming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 including reiveting or welding or fixing with screw bolts etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 75mm thick cement concrete type C2, 1:3:6 (40mm graded aggregate) as in floors or plinth protection and finishing cement concrete surface even and smooth without using extra cement including forming necessary joints 10mm wide to the full depth of PCC at every 3 metre and at change in direction complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of concrete (Reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for MS TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to Length bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns with an incl MS wire(Annealed not less than .90 mm Dia) or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing precast cement concrete (reinforced)Type B-1, 1 : 2 : 4 (20mm graded aggregate) set in cement mortar 1 : 6, in landings, for RCC cover slabs factory made for drains cover with plain faces complete all as specified and directed. Note: Reinfrocement shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

M & L for Reinforced Cement concrete (nominal mix) type B1 (1:2:4 ) with 20 mm graded aggregates as in Walls, retaining walls, basement walls, ballast walls and the like; any thickness; including attached pilaster and buttresses complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Reinfrocement shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Use and waste of formwork to faces of walls, retaining walls, abutments, parapets and staircase railings and similar work including attached pillasters, buttresses, etc.; vertical or to batter complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of blockage of weep holes of any type or any size in retaining walls by way of rodding and removal / clearing of mud, vegetation growth with rodding up to extreme end and making good the shape and size of weep hole with cement mortar in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparing for plastered or unplastered old decorated surfaces of stone/concrete walls by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scraping down smoke soot, moulds, mass and efflorescent salt, oil and greasy spots etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15mm thick in two layers consisting of first layer 15mm in CM 1:6 and top layer 5mm thick in CM (1:4) plastering on stone masonry surface and rendering is to be finished even and smooth w/o using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in CM including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing precast cement concrete bonders (for stone walling) type B1 (1:2:4) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, set in cm 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for walling of random rubble, uncoursed well bounded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in Cement Mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, laid dry complete all as specified and directed.

Raking out joints/pointing not less than 12mm deep built in cement mortar to random rubble or polygonal rubble uncoursed or brought up to courses, washing the joints and removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed. Note: Raking out joints/pointing shall be carried out on only old stone masonary surfaces.

M&L for raised pointing to random polygonal rubble, uncoursed or brought upto courses in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs 75mm bore PVC(SWR) pipes single socketed for weep holes , in any length as in weep holes complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches ,n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5mtr in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, well cesspts, manholes etc n exc 10sqm on plan and n exc 1.5mtr in depth and getting out in Hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches ,n exc 1.5m wide and exc 1.5mtr but n.exc 3.00m in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, well cesspts, manholes etc n exc 10sqm on plan and getting out in Hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc. 25cm

Removing excavated material (soils) n .exc 50m and depositing, where directed at a level n. exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 150mm bore dia reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, laid and jointed with collars including packing under, and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 including demolition and breaking up of drain pipes (Salt glazed ware, AC or reinforced concrete) seted in cement mortar of any dia over concrete bed complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 300mm bore dia reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, laid and jointed with collars including packing under, and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 including demolition and breaking up of drain pipes (Salt glazed ware, AC or reinforced concrete) seted in cement mortar of any dia over concrete bed complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for precast concrete Kerb Stones factory made of type B1, 1:2:4 (20mm graded stone aggregate) 10 to 15 cm thick and and setting in CM 1 : 6 including necessary formwork (straight and curved) including taking out existing broken stone with necessary excavation etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Washed stone grit plaster on exterior walls in two layers, under layer 12mm cement plaster 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand ) furrowing the under layer with scratching tool, applying cement slurry on the under layer @ 3 Kg of cement per square metre, top layer 15mm cement plaster 1:1/2:2 (1 cement: 1/2 coarse sand : 2 stone chipping 10mm nominal size) in panels with groove all around as per approved pattern including scrubbing and washing, the top layer with brushes and water to expose the stone chippings complete all as specified and as directed.
