Notes: 1. Before quoting, the bidder shall visit the site and make himself familiar with the site, nature, conditions and quantum / scope of work involved. You may contact Head, Construction & Engineering Services Group (Contact No: 040-27776 224/333) for site visit. 2. The rates quoted shall include cost of all materials, labour, loading charges, unloading charges of feeder pillars, transportation, hoisting, tools, tackles & installation including all taxes (except EPF &ESI) and other charges if any. No extra payment over and above the rate quoted shall be made to the contractor in this respect. 3. The workers employed for the work shall strictly follow all safety measures as stated in safety code of this tender and also as per DAE safety code. 4.The Contractor shall adhere to the provisions of applicable labour laws such as Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970, Minimum Wages Act, 1948, Employees State Insurance Act, Equal Remuneration Act, 1970 and rules made there under. 5.Contractor has to pay minimum wages, EPF & ESI to the manpower deployed for the work as per state/ central government orders issued from time to time. The actual amount paid towards EPF & ESI shall be reimbursed to him by the Department after satisfying that it has been actually and genuinely paid by the contractor. The bidder should not consider EPF & ESIC in his rates. 6. The contractor shall ensure that all the persons executing the electricalwork have valid electrical license. 7. The work required to be executed in occupied residential flats with minimum inconvenience to the Occupants. If so required, the work may have to be done even before and after office hours. No compensation shall be paid for loss of labour due to unavailability of flats/ site in any circumstances. Further, temporary power supply during nights shall be arranged if required during the execution of work.

Dismantling / Removal of existing wiring

Removal of existing wiring in flats including removal of DB, Main wiring form energy meter to DB, Switch boards, socket outlets, circuit/ point wiring, call bells etc (excluding Ceiling fans & exhaust fans) after disconnection of mains and earth connections etc complete. The recess area of DB/ electrical boxes/ switch boards if any available after installing new DB/ switch boards is to be filled with cement concrete, necessary plastering & painting is to be done so as to match with the adjoining areas of wall on all sides, making the good, segregating and stacking the old removed items, including cost of materials, labour, tool & plants, taxes etc as per the instructions and directions of E-I-C.

Removal of existing MCCB, Isolators, MCB's & wiring in Energy meter panel after disconnection of power supply and earth connections etc complete for fixing new MCCB, Isolators & MCB's, segregating and stacking the old removed items, including cost of materials, labour, tool & plants, taxes etc as per the instructions and directions of E-I-C.

Energy Meter Panel Renovation

Providing and fixing 100A rating, 30KA breaking capacity and four pole MCCB with thermomagnetic release and terminal spreaders in existing cubicle panel board including drilling holes in cubicle panel, making connections, etc. as required.

Supplying and fixing 5 A to 32 A rating, SPN, 240/415 V, 10 kA, "C" curve, miniature circuit breaker suitable for inductive load of following poles in the existing MCB DB complete with connections, testing and commissioning etc. as required.

Supplying and fixing 5 amps to 32 amps rating, TPN, 240V/415 volts,"C" curve, miniature circuit breaker suitable for inductive load of following poles in the existing MCB DB complete with connections, testing and commissioning etc. as required.

Distribution Board Wiring

Supplying and fixing 12 way, single pole and neutral, sheet steel, MCB distribution board, 240 V, on surface/ recess, complete with tinned copper bus bar, neutral bus bar, earth bar, din bar, interconnections, powder painted including earthing etc. as required. (But without MCB/RCCB/Isolator)

Supplying and fixing cable end box (loose wire box) suitable for up to 14 way double door SPN DB, 240V, on surface/ recess, completewith testing & commissioning etc. as required.

Supplying and fixing 40A rating, double pole, (single phase and neutral), 240 V, residual current circuit breaker (RCCB), having a sensitivity current 30 mA in the existing MCB DB complete with connections, testing and commissioning etc. as required.

Supplying and fixing Single pole, 5 A to 32 A rating, 240/415 V, 10 kA, "C" curve, miniature circuit breaker suitable for inductive load of following poles in the existing MCB DB complete with connections, testing and commissioning etc. as required.

Main Wiring / Circuit wiring

Supplying and fixing of 25mm of medium class PVC conduit along with accessories in surface/recess including cutting the wall and making good the same in case of recessed conduit as required.

Supplying and drawing following sizes of FR PVC insulated copper conductor, single core cable in the existing surface/recessed steel/ PVC conduit as required.

2 X 6 sq. mm + 1 X 6 sq. mm earth wire

Circuit Wiring

Wiring for circuit/ submain wiring alongwith earth wire with the following sizes of FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor, single core cable in surface/ recessed steel conduit as required.

2 X 2.5 sq. mm + 1 X 2.5 sq. mm earth wire

Point Wiring

Wiring for Group-A light point/ fan point/ exhaust fan point/ call bell point with 1.5 sq.mm FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable in surface / recessed medium class PVC conduit, with modular switch, modular plate, suitable GI box and earthing the point with 1.5 sq.mm FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable etc. as required.

Rewiring for twin control light point with 1.5 sq.mm FR PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable and 1.5sq.mm. FR PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable as earth wire in existing surface/ recessed steel conduit including dismantling as required.

Modular Switches, Sockets, GI box with base & cover plate

Supplying and fixing following size/ modules, GI box alongwith modular base & cover plate for modular switches in recess etc. as required.

Fittings & fixtures

Supply & installation of 150mm sweep metallic exhaust fan of reputed make with bird protection guard, min air delivery 350 Cum/h, min rated speed 2400rpm, rated voltage 230V, 50Hz in kitchen including making provision for installation by cutting the wall in required size & plastering neatly to obtain the shape or making suitable modification in the existing wooden window etc complete including disposal of debris with in a lead of 50 meters as per the instruction & direction of E-I-C.

Supply & installation of 150mm sweep non-metallic exhaust fan of reputed make with automatic shutters, min air delivery 275 Cum/h, min rated speed 1300rpm, rated voltage 230V, 50Hz in washroom including making provision for installation by cutting the wall in required size & plastering neatly to obtain the shape or making suitable modification in the existing wooden ventilator for fixing of exhaust fan etc complete including disposal of debris with in a lead of 50 meters as per the instruction & direction of E-I-C.

Supplying & fixing of 18W (approx) LED surface mount downlight, 1800 lm (min), luminous efficacy > 100, cool day light, square shape including suitable driver to ceiling at a height of 3.5m above as per the instruction and directions of E-I-C. This includes cost of materials, transport, labour, tools & plants, ladder, taxes etc complete.

Supplying and fixing call bell/ buzzer suitable for single phase, 230 V, complete as required

Earthing System

Earthing with G.I. earth pipe 4.5 metre long, 40 mm dia including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc. with charcoal/coke and salt as required.

Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm G.I. strip on surface or in recess for connections etc. as required.
