Unit-IV MIV -Maintenance seal rectification work: MATERIAL:Supply of D type seals ID 1668-1 No. as per drawing/ sample.

Supply of push pull nut assembly 8 Sets for Unit-4. Additional quantity-8 sets will be kept as spare for future use.

Supply of O rings 1) 8mmX1675mm ID endless material neoprene shore hardness 80 A – 2 No.

Releasing 42 Nos. of M64 size heavy steel stud bolt and nuts assembly of the Penstock terminal piece to MIV chamber connecting flange.

Removing of Bed bolts 4 Nos. of MIV chamber.

Removing of push pull nut system 8 nos. Set

Moving of MIV chamber from its position towards downstream side using EOT crane to the required tolerance for releasing of Maintenance seal assembly.

Dismantling of Maintenance seal and replacement of D-type seal as per drawings.

Dismantling of seating ring (if necessary).

Reassembling of push pull nut system 8 nos. with maintenance seal along with checking operation of maintenance seal through push pull nut assembly along with suitable o rings.

Reassembling of MIV chamber to the penstock terminal connecting flange.

Re-Tightening of M64 stud bolt with the required torque.

Retightening of MIV leg 4 nos M64 stud bolts in the foundation bed with the required torque.

Supply of consumables for MIV Maintenance seal rectification work.

Unit-IV MIV -SERVICE SEAL Rectification work:Charges for dismantling the lubricant greasing lines, hydraulic impulse lines, service seal operating and hydraulic valves, downstream side water lines, isolation valves, NRV’s etc after the isolation of W.C.S measurement of longitudinal gap between the flanged pipe end of s/c spherical valve sides of the dismantling joint.

Charges for releasing M56 size heavy steel 40 Nos stud bolt and nuts 120 Nos in the assembly of the dismantling joint.

Charges for releasing dismantling joint by releasing 28 nos. of steel hexagonal bolt of size M20 X 50 by jacking method with the help of steel hexagonal bolt of size M20X75. This includes releasing of M16X50 Hexagonal bolt in spiral casing side and seal retaining ring side.

Charges for replacement of MS TVS Grade 10.9/8.6 hexagonal bolts M20X50 (28 Nos) and M16X50 (64 Nos).

Charges for dismantling the flange and pipe of the dismantling joint. (spiral Casing end) and dismantling the flange and pipe of the dismantling joint. (spherical valve end)

Charges for releasing seal retaining ring assembly.

Charges for fabrication of Service seal puller with the help of channel 4” for releasing service seal and service seal housing. Puller to be handed over in site to TANGEDCO officials after completion of work.

Charges for dismantling of service seal and seal housing with the fabricated puller.

Charges for examining the 12 nos. of thrust pads mounted on seal housing and the locating dowel of 15 dia X 30 length and replacement of the CSK Head screw of size M10X25 Length (24 Nos) along with thrust pad (sample will be provided at the time of dismantling).

Charges for dismantling of seating ring from the MIV rotor by releasing Socket head SS screw M20X45 Length. (48 Nos)

Charges for cleaning and re-tapping of the bore surface of the released 48 Nos M20 holes which also includes releasing of struck/cut bolts in the holes. This includes replacement of all 48 Nos SS Socket head bolts M20 X 45 Length in seating ring.

Charges for complete cleaning of dismantling joint assembly, service seal assembly, seating ring and carrying out Dye penetrate test on the surfaces of the components.

Charges for reassembling of seal housing after fixing 12 Nos thrust pads

Charges for reassembling of service seal assembly after fixing of D type seals in the respective groove of the seal. D type seal will be provided departmentally.

Charges for Reassembling of the seal retaining ring.

Charges for carrying out of pressure test for seal leak and blue matching of the service seal with the seating ring of the MIV rotor.

Charges for lifting, positioning, fastening of flange and pipe spherical valve end and spiral casing end , fitting in to its position and aligning the dismantling joint and reassembling.

Charges for fixing of 40 nos. of M56 size heavy steel stud bolts with 120 Nos. of steel nuts and complete tightening of the stud bolts of MIV body locking

Charges for final tightening of the M56 steel bolt and nuts check tightening, reconnection of lubricant, greasing, oil and water lines and re – commissioning of MIV.

Charges for supply of consumables (Cotton waste, cleaning solution, and cleaning components, gas etc… essential for the work) for Unit-IV MIV Service seal rectification work

Supply of D-type Rubber seal for Service seal system: Supply & replacement of D-type Rubber seal ID 1703 mm endless- Material: Neoprine , Shore hardness: 80 A
