Improvement to Kamakantia- Mangalpur road - Durgadaspu Road in the Districtt of Puri under MMSY-Improvement to Existing RD Road for the year 2025-26

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, up to a lead of 1000 meters including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per technical specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, wood work, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead as per Technical Specification Clause 202 of MoRD by manual means & as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (i) Plain Cement Concete

(ii) Reinforced Cement Concete

(iii) Hume pipes above 600mm to 900mm dia

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches in hard soil within initial lead and lift including dressing and leveling the bed upto the required depth and depositing the excavated materials away from the working area etc.complete as per the specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation for road work in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections, and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.5m and lead upto 1000m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3 of MoRD.

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts & leads, transporting to site by mechanical means, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.2 & clause 305 of MoRT&H specification for Road & Bridge works as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying & filling good clean river sand of approved quality including watering to complete saturation & ramming complete with all leads & lifts including cost, conveyance, royalty of all materials & cost of all labour & T&P required for the work etc. complete as per specification & direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying of 80mm thick interlocking concrete block pavements on compacted river coarse sand free from all organic materials and filling the joints with sands as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1504 of MoRD including cost, conveyance, royalty of materials, labour charges, T&P etc, required for the work complete & as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of un-reinforced, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement or any other type as per Clause 1501.2.2 M30 (Grade), coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant, near approaches to bridge/culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days, curing compound (where specified) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and technical specification as per clause 1501 of MoRD and direction of Engineer in Charge.
