Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within all lead : Pipes, cables etc. exceeding 80 mm dia. but not exceeding 300 mm dia

Providing and laying in trenches galvanized mild steel tubes (heavy grade)tube fitting (earth work in trenches to be measured and paid for separately) 100 mm nominal bore.

Providing and fixing M. S. flanges to follwing dia to GMS heavy/ Medium grade tubes conforming to IS 6393-1971 of following table, dia & welding with GMS pipe including cost of nuts, bolts, washer comp as per IS 1963 specification including packing sheet 3mm thick minimum and painting with anti corssive paints complete in all lead, lifts and carriage of material at site and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. 100mm dia. Providing and fixing C.I. sluice valve ( with hand wheel) as per IS; 780 Class upto 300 mm dia including brass spindle and as per IS: 2906 class II for diameters more than 300 mm complete with bolts, nuts, rubber insertion etc, ( Tte tail piece if required shall be measured and paid for sepratly) (i) 100 mm nominal size.

Making connection of galvanised mild steel distribution branch with galv-anised mild steel main nominal bore by providing and fixing tee including cutting and threading the pipes complete.(i) 100 mm nominal dia.
