SURFACING WORKS
PProviding, Laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate grading as per table No 400-13 and satisfying the physical requirement as per Table No.400-12 of MORT&H Specifications for Wet Mix Macadam of 75 mm Compacted thickness including premixing the material with water to OMC in mechanical mix (pug mill) laying in uniform layers in sub base/base course on a well prepared base and compacting with power vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including guarding conforming to Clause 406 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (5th Revision) as specified in Particular Specifications and notes of Sch ‘A’ and as directed and approved by Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing laying & compaction of 75 mm thick BM layer, precoated stone aggregate physical requirement/grading/mix composition requirement as per Table -500-8/9/10 respectively of MORT&H specifications for road and bridge works with 4.250% asphalt VG-10 penetration grade as per MORT&H (5th Revision) data book and rolled to the required specifications and notes of Sch ‘A’ and as directed and approved by Engineer-in- Charge.
Providing, laying & compaction of Bituminous Concrete 40 mm compacted thickness on bituminous carpet layer conforming to Table : 500-17 and mix satisfying the physical requirement of table: 500-16 of MORT&H (5th Revision) specifications mixed with 5% binder asphalt VG-10 penetration grade by weight of total mix and 2% cement by weight of mix (for filler) all as specified as per MORT&H data book and notes of Sch ‘A’ and as directed and approved by Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and Applying of Prime Coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer @ 7.5 Kg per 10 sqm by mechanical means conforming to clause 502 of MORT & H specifications for Road and Bridge Works (5th Revision) as specified in Particular Specifications and notes of Sch ‘A’ and as directed and approved by Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and Applying of Tack Coat with bitumen VG-10 using bitumen pressure distributor @ 2.5kg/10 sqm on prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom, all complete as clause 503 of MORT&H (5th Revision) specifications as specified in Particular Specifications and notes of Sch ‘A’ and as directed and approved by Engineer-in-Charge.
Marking of Centre and Edge Line with Thermo Plastic Paint (2.5 mm thick) and Glass Beads with Road marking Machine confirming to clause 803 of MORT&H specifications (5th Revision) as specified in Particular Specifications and notes of Sch ‘A’ and as directed and approved by Engineer-in-Charge.
