Servicing of diesel engine driven high pressure fire pump of following capacity at Fire Pump House at INA Ezhimala by servicing all accessories PT pump injectors, wood ward governor, self starter, Radiator, dynamo, engine wiring, terminal contacts and safety controls etc., including replacement of spare parts as required (spare parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items) and reassembling sub assemblies after carrying out necessary repairs and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint testing, commissioning as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Preparing surfaces of fire hydrant pipe line up to 150mm dia by scrapping old rusted paint with and including applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of fire red colour over one coat of red oxide primer including marking fire hydrant flow complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Taking down carefully electric motor 3phase, 415v, 50Hz, AC from foundation/coupling, transporting to civil workshop, opening motor, checking insulation value of the windings, insulating the winding with same class of insulation, painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint as per color code and transporting back to site for re-installing motor and connecting to pump, testing the motor for satisfactory performance complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge for the following capacity :-

Replacement of Gun metal fire Hydrant valve with 5mm flanged inlet and 63 mm female single instantaneous outlet complete with Lug & Chain as per IS-5290 Hydrostatically tested to 21 Kgf/cm2 of pressure having a flow rate of 900 LPM at 7Kgf/m2 complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only fire hose 63 mm dia confirming to IS: 636, 15 meter length including gunmetal heavy duty pair of male and female couplings complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only gunmetal branch pipe with male threaded nozzle of 15mm and male instantaneous inlet of 63 mm dia as per IS : 903.93 complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix butterfly valve 100mm slim seal standard lever operated type confirming to IS: 13039 complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparing surfaces of fire control cabinet out door type of size 0.50mX0.50mX0.30m by scrapping out old rusted paint and necessary snickering and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat red oxide primer by spray painting complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Repair of microprocesser based fire alarm control panel NOTIFIRE FS 3030, having six loop data card, battery, LCD panel, buzzers required software program etc, including testing all as directed. Note: The unit rate quoted shall include for regular inspection, maintenance/servicing of loop wiring, heat / smoke detectors, response indicator, MCP, sounder cum scob with control module complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix multi criteria detectors with base for below for false ceiling model FAPT 851B501 including taking down old unserviceable complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Honey well or Equivalent

Supply and fix manual call point resettable type complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Honey well or equivalent

Supply and fix sounder cum storb with control module with taking out old unserviceable acomplete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Honey well or equivalent

Painting to valve chamber and cast iron cover with synthetic enamel paint of fire red colour including marking with white colour paint complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.50m wide and n. exc 1.50m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil including trimming the sides and forming bottom surface to required levels for laying pipes complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in including spreafing, levelling, watering and well ramming in trenches with soil obtained from excavation in layers n.exc. 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and replace rubber bush for pump coupling suitable for the following capacity of pumps

Repairs to CI sluice valves by taking out gland sleeve, check nut spindle, gate etc. and cleaning the valve by removing all scales and reassembling the valve with new packing nut and bolts including painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for the following:

Sluice valve flanged type 200/ 150mm dia.

Sluice valve flanged type 100/ 80mm dia.

Repairs to CI Non return valves flanged type 150/100/80 mm dia by opening the cover and cleaning the valve by removing all scales, dirt etc and reassembling the valve with new packing nut and bolts including painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & lab our for attending breakdown of 150 mm dia pipe line bursting/cracks including broken pipe pieces of various sizes through gas cutting or manual cutting as required at site and providing new CI/MS/GI pipes of required length (not more than 2m) and removing out the damaged CI pipe and inserting necessary specials such as flanges etc as required at site including testing for the leakages of flange joints for 150mm dia MS/CI pipes complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in -charge Note:Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of this BOQ.
