Consolidation of sub-grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity including making good the undulations etc. with earth or quarry spoils etc. and rerolling the surface.

Supplying and filling in plinth with river course sand under floors, including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete

Supplying and laying stone soling with stone boulders of size 150 mm to 225 mm in layers not exceeding 225 mm thick including hand packing with small stone chips and binding materials (gravel or moorum) including watering and compacting with road roller / hand rammer as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying graded granular material (moorum) in layers not exceeding 20cm (loose) in thickness (each layer) and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Breaking clods, watering, consolidating each layers with power road roller 8-10 tonne, under optimum moisture content to give density not less than that specified of the maximum modified standard proctor density at OMC including levelling, fine dressing to the required camber, grade and slope etc. complete. The K-value of 30MN/M3 shall be ensured on top of this layer (payment to be made for the compacted quantity only).

Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineerin- Charge. (a) With material conforming to Grade-II (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) having CBR Value-25.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achievethe desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying polythene sheet of 400 microns on the base course with overlaps of not less than 75 mm longitudinally and 75mm transversely and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering .All work up to plinth level : (a) 1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 Course sand (Zone-III) : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

Providing expansion joint by using 25mm thick expanded polyethlene foam expansion joint filler pad in sheet form (of brand "Supreme" Capcell HD 100 or equivalent) and 30mm dia non cross linked expanded polyethylene armour rod as per manufacturer's specifications. Density of pad shall be 80 to 100 kg per cum and density of 30mm dia. armour rod shall be 24 to 26 Kg per cum, top 10mm of joint filled with polysulphide (pouring grade) RDL 941 EH including painting of sides with polysulphide primer applied in two coats with brushes on the sides of joints within an interval of 30 mnutes, armour rods of approved quality fixed with suitable arangements complete as per drawing & directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying polysulphide sealant (pouring grade) of approved brand (conforming to BS - 5212) in expansion / construction/ dummy joints including painting contact surface of the joints with approved polysulphide primer (in two coats) including providing expanded polyethylene armour rod of required size etc. complete as per drawing and directions of the Engineer-in-charge in sizes detailed below:- (for payment purpose quantity of polysulphide sealant only will be measured)

a) Expansion joints of size 25mm wide and 10mm deep over 30mm dia. expanded polythylene armour rod.

b) Construction joints of size 10mm wide and 13mm deep over 12mm dia. expanded polyethylene armour rod.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment). (Precast C.C. kerb stone shall be approved by Engineer-in-charge).

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) upto plinth level with : (a) Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Providing and fixing Galvalume Pre-Coated steel sheet for Self Supported roofing system manufacture by using cold rolled steel sheet out of 1.3 mm thick based metal thickness(BMT),steel with min 350 MPa Yield strength and profile made from the coil width of range 900 mm to 920 mm converted into profile having effective Profile width of 610 mm to 625 mm and effective depth profile sheet ranges from 195 mm to 210 mm (from top of edge of inter- locking to bottom of sheet .Metallic hot dip coated with Zinc and Aluminum alloy (55% aluminium,45 % Zinc) AZ 150 (Min 150 gms/sqm total on both sides). The paint shall have a coating thickness on top side of sheet 20 micron (Minimum) and bottom 12 micron (minimum). Laying/fixing shall be done with interlocking / seaming the blue/white colour different sheets without making holes or preventing the overturning the roof by wind addition made up from superior quality. NOTE: -This item includes designing of self-supported roof systemas per requirement for load like wind load, self-weight and earthquake loads; including vetting of design by IITs/NITs, Supply, & fabrication of self-supported single span arch roof fabricated from mechanically seamed Hydraulic Machines to profiles of Imported Galvalume Cold Rolled Structural Steel coils as per required shape and curvature, Steel Sheet, Aluminum-Zinc Alloy Coated by Hot-Dip Process. The work shall be carried out as per manufacturer’s specifications and directions of Engineer in Charge. Providing and submitting the structural design and drawing of Cargo building structure including foundation details for the proposed cargo building, after carrying out necessary soil investigation. The structural design and drawings goods for constructions shall be done by a structural consultant appointed by Contractor. The contractor shall submit the soil test report, structural design and drawing to Engineer-in-charge after vetting from NIT/IIT. If any clarification/alteration in design is required by the Engineer-in-charge, the same be done without any additional cost. The contractor shall submit Two sets of structure design calculation & six sets of structural drawings showing all relevant details required for execution of work, duly vetted by NIT/IIT. Note : The contractor shall appoint the consultant for soil testing and structural design with prior approval of Enginner-in-charge. The soil investigation shall be carried out as per the prevailing AAI guidelines (copy attached at Annexure A) and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
