No claim whatsever shall be tenable on this account at belated stage.

Material and labour for earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) in foundation trenches or drains in any type of soil or all kind of soil (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil, within a lead of 50 m complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Returning, filling in (soil), including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in any type of soil or all kind of soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material (Soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material (Soil) to a distance exceeding 50 metre but not exceeding 250 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material (Soil) to a distance exceeding 250 metre but not exceeding upto a distance of 500 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick, watering, ramming and well compacted/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc., not exceeding 1.5 metre high from base including compaction of earth filling under optimum moisture content of proctor density 95 percent complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes:- (i) Good earth shall be used obtained from excavation under item No 05 & 06 of BOQ mentioned here-in-before. (ii) Measurements of earth brought shall be admissible on the basis of levels taken before filling and those after filling duly compacted. (iii) For payment purpose, volume of filling after deduction of 5% shall be considered.

Material and labour for Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 (type D-2) (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 (type C-2) (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 (type B-2) (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Walling of polygonal random rubble stone masonry with harder stone such as lime stone or sand stone and brought up to courses well bounded bedded and solidly hearted as laid in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Extra over stone walling for hammer dressing to free stones and dressing of free beds and joints as specified with maximum depression on face from straight edge held against the dressed surface not exceeding 40mm to face stones and dressing of face beds and joints, as specified, of random rubble walling with lime or sand stone, uncoursed or brought up to courses complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Keyed pointing to random or polygonal rubble, uncoursed or brought upto courses as in stone masonary built in CM (1:3) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Raking out joints/ pointing to squared rubble old stone masonry, coursed or uncoursed built in cement mortar complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- The rates include for raking or cutting out joints and decayed mortar etc, not less than 12mm deep, washing the joints, removing rubbish off the premises, and keeping the surface to be pointed wet for 2 days prior to re-pointing.

Material and Labour for Brickwork with Fly Ash bricks having crushing strength not less than 75kg/Sqm straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius and built in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Brickwork with Fly Ash bricks having crushing strength not less than 75kg/Sqm straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick walls and built in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Keyed pointing to brick wall surface as built in CM (1:3) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Reinforced Cement concrete M-25 (Design Mix) (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc. basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Reinforced cement concrete M-25 (Design Mix) (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in walls, retaining walls, basement walls, ballast walls and the like; any thickness; above top of footings; including attached pilasters and buttresses of concrete, vertical or to batter complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for formwork to Flat sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams, and similar work for Rough finished surface of concrete, vertical or to batter complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Material and Labour for formwork to faces of walls, retaining walls, abutments, parapets and staircase railings and similar work including attached pillasters, buttresses, etc.; vertical or to batter etc with fair finished flat surface of concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Material and labour for fomwork to soffits of suspended slabs, landings and similar work exceeding 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) including fair finished surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Formwork to edges of concrete flats, treads, breaks in floors, window cills, concrete railings, openings in concrete walls, floor and roofs not exceeding 20 cm wide and sides of RCC/PCC bands in walls, horizontal or sloping and similar work exceeding 10cm but not exceeding 20cm wide for fair finished surface of concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Material and Labour for Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia (Fe-500D) and over reinforcement, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Material and Labour for Mild steel TMT bars 05mm dia (Fe-500D) and over upto and including 10mm dia as in stirrups, spacers and binders reinforcement, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Material and labour for Rendering 15mm thick cement plaster on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:4) including finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing for PVC (SWR) pipes of size 110mm bore and conforming to IS-13592-1992 (type-'A') single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints conforming to IS-5382-1985 fixed to walls as in retaining walls complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supplying and fixing of wire netting of galvanized steel wire, of size 1.40mm dia fixed with tinned tacks of wire staples made out of Mesh size 20mmx20mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Aggregates broken stones and boulders filling with pea gravel of size 20mm to 40mm dry, handpacked tightly behind weep holes as in wire netting of size of cube 250mmx250mmx250mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge (wire netting shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule)

Material and labour for hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63mm thick deposited, spread and leveled in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces as in cutting by using power driven road roller having capacity of 8 to 12 metric tonne or using pneumatic power road roller with vibratory system including watering as necessary and filling in hollows and depressions to required gradient and chamber in any type of soil or all kind of soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 150 mm thick (spread thickness) soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone (Basalt or trap) of size 80mm-100mm, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 150mm thick (compacted thickness) Water Bound Macadam in two layers of 75mm thick each, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 mm to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 mm to 20mm size), with granite, trap or basalt spread and consolidated to gradient and camber rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller as required complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor surface by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc including brushing with neat cement slurry with 3.00 Kg of cement per Sqm surface area complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for 150mm thick quality Cement concrete work as in pavement/ hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg/per square centimetre (Lower control limit) in field using minimum cement content as per design mix but not less than 400 kg of OPC cement per cubic metre with using crushed graded stone aggregates, combined grading of coursed and fine aggregate as per MORTH table 600-3 required as per design mix (as per IRC 5th revision) mixed with and including in base as specified including 150 micron polythene film spread with minimum 15cm side and ends lap as per IS-2058 and laid over and including a layer of sand 20mm thick loose thickness along with use and waste of side formwork (Steel channel), spread, consolidation, finishing clean, cutting and belt without using extra cement and laid in bays with gradient and camber including compacted/finished by using mechanical paver including brooming and cost of testing to establish quality control and cured with curing compound etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: (a) The cost of the curing compound, 150 micron polythene film and sand layer is deemed to be included in the quoted rate for this item. (b) Please also note that cracks as found (if any) in old surface of existing PCC Road (Except Demolished portion/Section of PCC Road as catered under Srl item No -04 of BOQ) shall be made good by cutting out cracks to V-section including cleaning out & well grouting with cement & sand mortar slurry (1:3) including matching of joints. Tenderers are requested to cater this aspect/activity & financial effect shall also deemed to be included in the quoted rates for this item. No claim shall be tenable on this account at the belated stage. (c) Please note that test of (K) value for subgrade shall be carried out by the contractor before commencemnt of the work on the site. Testing charges shall be borne by the contracor. Further in case of requirement of thickness of PQC worked to be more than 150mm due to (K) value testing. Then the same shall be provided on the site & accordingly commulative Qty for this item (measured & paid in Cum) shall be increased/paid without any extra cost to the Deptt. Tenderers are requested to cater this aspect/activity, which shall deemed to included in the quoted rates for this item. No claim shall be tenable on this account at the belated stage.

Material and Labour for Forming Construction joint of size 30mm deep x 10mm wide (using diamond cutter) providing polythene backup rod 12mm dia and sealed with polyurethane sealant of Grade 'FB' (min depth of sealant 12mm) complying with BS 5212, BS 4254, and EN 14187-5: 2003, priming the sides min MAF ± 30% with ten years performance guarantee and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface to give neat finish to sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied by mechanical means complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Forming Contraction (Dummy) joints of size 50mm deep x 8mm wide, (Using diamond cutter for sawing quality concrete) Providing polythene backup rod 10mm dia and sealed with polyurethane sealant of Grade 'FB' (minimum depth of sealant 12mm) complying with BS 5212, BS 4254 and EN 14187-5:2003, priming the sides min MAF ± 30% with ten years performance guarantee and applying masking tape edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface to give neat finish to sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied by mechanical means complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Forming 12mm thick Expansion joints (using diamond cutter for sawing quality concrete) filled with compressible filled board HD-100 and providing polythene backup rod 15mm dia and sealant with polyurethene sealant of Grade 'FB' (minimum depth of sealant 12mm) for 150mm thick concrete floor/slab surface complying with BS 5212, BS 4254 and EN 14187-5:2003, priming the sides min MAF ± 30% with ten years performance guarantee and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface to give neat finish to sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied by mechanical means complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Reinforced cement concrete pipes for size 600mm bore dia of pipe (Class NP-2) confirming to IS-458-2003 as laid in trenches and jointed complete with collars including fittings, special and testing complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (a) The rates include for laying pipes level or to fall in trenches, etc. on concrete bed or directly on hard ground as indicated and making joints and testing as specified. (b) The pipes shall be measured net as fixed between the fittings and specials, if any, without any allowance for cutting and waste. (c) The rates include for all necessary extra joints, waste and cutting etc. Excavation and earthwork and concrete work shall be measured and paid separately under respective items

Material and labour for Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Add or deduct for each 25 mm girth or part thereof over or under 30cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- The rate quoted by the contractor against this item shall deemed to be applicable for both add or deduct as required on the site and payment to the contractor shall be adjusted accordingly.

Material and labour for Flush pointing to brick wall masonary surface built in CM 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note: The schedule of credit in Pdf format has been attached with tender and amount of credit schedule i.e. Rs 27,150.00 shall be deducted from the total quoted amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
