Materials and labour for earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15 mm thick, burried directly and preferably vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connetced with copper strip of 20 x 3mm size by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel earthing lead to be protected by galvanised iron pipe of 40mm bore (light grade) and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor or main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (medium grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary earth work in excavation in hard/dense soil, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 m etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I(2009) complete including testing on completion including taking down of unserviceable earthing complete all as specified and as directed. Pole shall be painted with two coat of black bituminous throughout internally and externally upto planting depth and the remaining external portion shall be painted with two coats of aluminum paints over a coat of red oxide primer including painting from bottom to 1.2m height alternative with 30cm red and white strip and writing pole no with black paint on yellow background complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (a) Earth work and PCC shall be measured and paid separately under relavent items of schedule 'A'/BoQ. (b) Design / drawing of HT pole and dimension is to be obtained from OEM/auth dealer/supplier and same is to be got approved from AGE(I) before placing order to the manufacturer.

Note: Excavation/earthwork, bricks, sand cushioning and GI pipe will be measured and paid separately.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundations, manholes, etc. or for laying cables/pipes, erecting poles, etc. not exceeding 10sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and labour for sand filling around the cable with approved quality coarse sand for sand cushioning of Under ground cable including spreading and punning down to 18 cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed.(Compacted thickness shall be measured)

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP, type 1, with peak, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm in trenches on cable as cable protection across the length of the cable (width wise)complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and labour for brick protection cover to underground cables with sub class ‘B’ over burnt brick of size 23 X 11.5 X 7.5 cm, (locally available best quality), laid dry and flat abutting each other with gaps not exceeding 10mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying GI tubing 80mm bore light grade with fittings laid in trenches for protection of HT/LT underground cables/ roof conductor including taking down old unserviceable pipes complete all as specified and a

M & L for preparation of old painted surface of LT Panel/Distribution box installed at E/M Installations at Aizawl Mil Stn area of any size by removing all dirt, dust,etc and painting complete surface including connected accessories such as angle Iron channel etc of any description with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour including writing of identification complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L hard core of gauge n.exc 63mm deposited spread and leveled in layers n.exc 15cm thick, watered and rammed to true surface broken stone or boulders or aggregate around 4 pole , 2 pole structure and transformer etc. complete all as per directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in reapir of 240V, 10KA 'C' curve miniature circuit breaker (MCB) of SPN and current carrying capacity 32 Amps in the MCB DB complete with connection testing and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for (cold bitumen) for filling/repair of road cutting with road patch material ready mix liquid asphalt with chemicals, anti striping agents, graded aggregates and additives laid in layers of 50mm and compacted with rammer or a wooden mallet complete as per manufacturer instructions and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
