REPAIR/MAINT OF ESSENTIAL BUILDING CABLE INFRA LINK SIGN BOARDS AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEMS AT AFS BAREILLY UNDER GE (AF) BAREILLY

Excavation in trenches (manually) not exc. 1.50 mtr wide and not exc. 1.50 mtr in depth for laying cables, foundation of electric pole, stay assembly etc and getting out in soft / loose soil all as specified.

M&L for laying of course sand, free from sharp materials as in filling in trenches for cable protection, laid to a uniform thickness of 23 cm (15 cm under the cable and 8 cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18 cm thickness as required all as specified. Note :- Punned down thickness shall be measured for payment purpose.

M&L for laying bricks for protection covers over cables using well burnt Sub class 'B' bricks of old size in trenches over sand cushioning all as specified.

All as per Item No. 3 here-in-before but except bricks. [Note: Serviceable bricks retrieved from taking out cable item shall be re-used].

Returning, filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in any type of soil all as specified.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 mtr above the starting point all as specified.

Taking out old existing cable of any type and size alongwith old protection bricks from trenches, ducts, passing through pipe/fixing on poles etc all as specifed.

Supply, laying and testing for XLPE insulated armoured and overall PVC sheathed having stranded copper conductor cable 1100 volts grade ISI marked of size 10 Sqmm 4 core LT cable (heavy duty) in trenches, ducts, passing through pipe/fixing on poles etc all as specifed.

All as per Item No. 7 here-in-before but cable of size 16 Sqmm 4 core.

All as per Item No. 7 here-in-before but cable of size 25 Sqmm 4 core.

All as per Item No. 7 here-in-before but cable of size 70 Sqmm 3.5 Core.

Relaying of old serviceable LT XLPE under ground cable 1100 volt grade of size 3.5/4 core, size 10 Sqmm to 25 Sqmm after fault rectification complete all as specified and directed. [Note: Old serviceable cable retreived from item No. 7.00 of BOQ. Excavation & earth work will be measured and paid separately].

M&L in repair LT cable straight through jointing kit heat shrinkable type suitable for XLPE/ PVC insulated cable of size 3.5/4 Core size 10 Sqmm to 16 Sqmm complete including testing the cable joint, cutting & removing unserviceable joint, preparation of both ends of cable to be joined with necessary stretching, aligning, making joint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair LT cable straight through jointing kit heat shrinkable type suitable for XLPE/ PVC insulated cable of size 3.5/4 core size 25 Sqmm to 50 Sqmm complete including testing the cable joint, cutting & removing unserviceable joint, preparation of both ends of cable to be joined with necessary stretching, aligning, making joint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for horizontal boring under hard standing/ pavements or roads manually using suitable auger for insertion of GI pipes up to 80mm bore and making good the disturbed surface complete all as specified and as directed. [Note: GI pipe will be measured and paid separately]

S&F in repair 50 mm bore galvanished iron tubing light grade with all fittings laid in trenches or inserting in horizontal boring complete all as specified.

M&L in replacement of existing damaged/ broken/ unserviceable link sign board of overall size 2400 mm x 450 mm made of hard plastic or Perspex sheet duly framed with anodized aluminium strip of suitable size. The link sign board mounted on 2-3 Nos legs made of specialized frangible material. One alphabet letter like 'B' & 'C' and the like of size 340 mm x 236 mm shall be written on one side of the board in yellow colour on black background of size 1140 mm x 450 mm and remaining portion of link sign board size 1260 mm x 450 mm shall be yellow background and black strip as per existing pattern. The link sign board shall have suitable number of LED lights with accessories such as LED driver, adopter, plate, rectifier to convert AC supply into DC supply etc. Link sign board shall be pre-wired with complete housing in the board including necessary PCC foundation in 1:2:4 type B-1 mix for fixing link board and making all electric connections as per existing sample at site as per requirement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L in repair to damaged/broken unserviceable existig link sign board of overall size 2300 mm x 800 mm made of hard plastic or perspex sheet duly framed with anodised aluminium strip of suitable size. The link sign board shall be mounted on 2-3 Nos legs made of specialized frangible material. One aphabet letter like 'C' & 'E' and the like of size 340 mm x 400 mm shall be written on one side of the board in yellow colour on black blackgound of size 1140 mm x 800 mm remaining portion of link sign board size 1160 mm x 800 mm shall be yellow background and black strip as per existing pattern. The link sign board shall have suitable number of LED lights with LED accessories such as LED driver, adopter,plate,rectifier to convert AC Supply into DC supply etc. Link sign board shall be made pre-wired as in replacement of old burnt wires with complete housing in the board including suitable repair to the PCC foundation in 1:2:4 type B-1 mix for fixing link board and making all electric connections all as per existing sample at site with and including replacement of damages/broken mirror image complete all as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed.

The link sign board is mounted on 2-3 Nos legs made of specialized frangible material. One aphabet letter like 'Q' and the like of size 255 mm x 300 mm shall be written on one side of the board in yellow colour on black blackgound of size 555 mm x 600 remaining portion of link sign board size 555 mm x 600 mm shall be yellow background and black strip as per existing pattern. The link sign board shall have suitable number of LED lights with LED accessories such as LED driver, adopter, plate, rectifier to convert AC Supply into DC Supply etc. Link sign board shall be made pre-wired as in replacement of old burnt wires with complete housing in the board including suitable repair to the PCC foundation in 1:2:4 type B-1 mix for fixing link board and making all electric connections all as per existing sample at site with and including replacement of damages/broken mirror image complete all as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed.
