Mechanical Maintenance Works through Annual Job Contract

Dismantling of old damaged chutes, screen under chutes, skirt boards, rollers, roller frames, deck plates, Other all types of structures as per as per instructions of Engineer-In-charge.

Fabrication and erection of chutes, skirt boards, deck plates, walkways, safety railings, guards, platforms, fencing etc. as per instruction of Engineer-in-charge.

Fixing of liners, which includes fixing of all types and sizes of liners like Mn, steel, rubber, PU liners, CC and high chrome steel liner and wear liners of classifier

Fixing of the scrappers Along with new rubber whenever necessary at the conveyors.

Fixing the dummy rubber (old belt to be cut as per size required) at screen under chutes, screen decks and other places as per instruction of site-in-charge

Replacement of roller frames at conveyors.

Replacement of rubber deck panels of primary screens.

Changing of damage wire mesh panels at secondary screens.

Replacement of blank panels at secondary screens.

Replacement of carrier rollers at conveyors.

Replacement of return rollers at conveyors.

Conveyor Non Drive Pulley changing as per instruction of site-in-charge whenever necessary. All the activities like lifting of take-up etc. are in contractor's scope.

Making conveyor pulley free for lagging works and after lagging take up to be released and belt clamps to be removed and shifted to site store. All the activities like lifting of take-up etc. are in contractor's scope.

Replacement of non-drive end bearings of conveyor pulleys and apron feeders. All the activities like lifting of take-up etc. are in contractor's scope.

Replacement of track rollers of apron feeders.

Replacement of return rollers of apron feeders.

Replacement of skirt rubber at different conveyors.

The contractor has to deploy a maintenance group of minimum six people containing a supervisor, a skilled fitter, a skilled welder, a rigger and two helpers on daily basis. However, the additional manpower may also be required depending upon the nature of work.

During shutdown or maintenance days, more maintenance groups similar to above will be required.

All types of tools and tackles required for performing the maintenance works will be in contractor's scope.

The MS welding electrodes will be under scope of contractor, and if NMDC issues the same, it will be on chargeable basis as per prevailing rates. The structural steel and Gas cylinders required for fabrication work will be supplied by NMDC as free issue material.

The L1 bidder to be decided on overall basis.
