REPLACEMENT OF DAMAGED STRUCTURAL IN NP PLANT, FACT CD Work involves: Collection of required materials from FACT -CD stores / plant area and transport to the work site at NP area. All types of structural items like platforms, ladders, stair cases, handrails, roofs, pipe bridges, Equipment support, pipe & duct supports, columns, walkways, etc. shall be fabricated as per the instruction of the Officer - in -Charge to meet site requirement. Existing damaged structure in various locations in NP Plant shall be dismantled / removed and replaced with newly fabricated one / modified structure to meet the site requirement. Damaged structurals shall be transported to scrap yard/area earmarked as per the instruction from site in charge. Erected structurals shall be painted with two (02) coats of zinc chromate yellow primer of approved make/quality and two (02) coats of synthetic enamel paint of distinct colours of approved make/quality. The surfaces to be painted are to be cleaned manually using wire brush to the extent that entire surface is free from dirt, dust, oil, grease or any foreign material. The structural steel after transporting from store to worksite shall be immediately be cleaned and first coat primer shall be applied. The structurals after fabrication and erection shall be applied with second coat of zinc chromate yellow primer after necessary cleaning at all heights and elevations .Two coats of synthetic enamel paint of distinct colours shall be applied one after the other after giving sufficient curing time after each coat applied at all elevations. Any area inaccessible after erection shall be painted beforehand.All costs incurred in painting including cost of paints,primers,painting equipments,cleaning equipments,handling charges,scaffolding and any other incidental expenses will be under contractor's scope.

IN NP PLANT" Work involves: fabrication and replacement of damaged enclosures and protective elements like dummies, door, casing, stiffeners, covers, guards, shrouds etc. of various static and rotating equipment like Vessels, Ducts, elevators, conveyors, fans, etc. situated at different locations and elevations in the both streams of NP plant. The activity includes Collection of required materials from FACT -CD stores / plant area and transport to the work site at NP area. All types of enclosures and protective elements of the various equipment shall be fabricated as per the instruction of the Officer - in -Charge to meet site requirement. Erected structural elements shall be painted with two (02) coats of zinc chromate primer of approved make / quality and two (02) coats of synthetic enamel paint of distinct colours of approved make / quality. The surfaces to be painted are to be cleaned manually using a wire brush to the extent that the entire surface is free from dirt, dust, oil, grease, or any foreign material. The structural steel, after transporting from the store to the worksite, shall immediately be cleaned and the first coat of primer shall be applied. The structural elements, after fabrication and erection, shall be applied with a second coat of zinc chromate primer after necessary cleaning at all heights and elevations. Two coats of synthetic enamel paint of distinct colours shall be applied one after the other, allowing sufficient curing time after each coat is applied at all elevations. Any area inaccessible after erection shall be painted beforehand. All costs incurred in painting, including the cost of paints, primers, painting equipment, cleaning equipment, handling charges, scaffolding, and any other incidental expenses, will be within the contractor's scope.
