Maintenance and servicing to DG sets including attending faults on call basis for normal repairs including replacement of defective and worn out parts/spares viz. filters, gaskets, V- belts, engine oil, rubber hoses, worm drive clamps, nuts, bolts and cleaning of alternator with vaccum cleaner and rectifying faults of AMF panels, etc. tappet settings if required and greasing of bearings of engine and alternator, checking of batteries, applying petroleum jelly to battery terminals, adding distilled water checking the oil, coolant levels complete all as specified and as directed of the following capacities: Notes: (i) All items viz. cleaning agent, cotton waste, grease, minor items such as washer, nuts, bolts etc are required for carrying out the normal maintenance of the engine, mechanic charges and any specialized machine work from outside workshop if requred shall be included in the quoted rates (ii) Fresh engine oil/spare parts for DG sets shall be measured and paid separately under respecitve items as detailed hereafter. Labour for such fixing shall be included in the quoted rates (iii) During maintenance/servicing of DG set, complete DG set shall be checked properly and all setting shall be done properly
