Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by manual/ mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rock, hard rock, chiseling wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades, width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same with in all leads and lifts in acquired width of road and transporation of unuseful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportations including head load or animal transport or mechanical means along with its leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals, necessary to complete the work by mechanical means /labour if required. All useful material such as stones shingle, aggregate and slates etectra shall be sorted out and stacked in proper stack. Recovery of stone to the tune of 105.39 Cubic metre quantity at the rate of Rs.300/-(Rupees Three hundred)only per cubic metre shall be effected from the contractors running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public, private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases. Earth work in excavaxtion for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock, chiseling/ wedging out rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty millimetres) compacted thickness including shoring, strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantam of water including cleaning of slush which any arrise out during dewatering as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated plain cement concrete 1:4:8 (One cement isto Four Sand isto Eight graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (Forty milimetre) nominal size and curing complete including the cost of form work on ground or under water complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying concrete complete for all heights/depths in retaining walls and breast walls etcetra as per drawing and M.O.R.D. Technical Specification section 800, 900 and 1200, as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads, lifts. Back filling with granular material behind abutments, return walls, wing walls and retaining walls complete as per drawing and M.O.R.D. Providing 100mm (One hundred milimetre) diametre Poly Vinyl chloride pipe weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing walls, return wall and retaining walls/breast walls etcetra extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1(V):20(H) (One vertical isto twenty horizental) towards draining face complete as per drawing and MORD Technical specification section 700 and 1200, including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
