Annual Operation, repair & maintenance of WSS Mandi town from Intake structure at Riyagri to WTPs (4 Nos. i.e. Kangnidhar -I & II, Dhangsidhar & Motipur) and entire distribution system upto consumer end. The scope of work shall also include the followings:- 1) Generation/treatment & supplying of potable water having water quality conforming to IS-10500 : 2012 to all consumers of Mandi town except Ward No 14 (Behna) & 15 (Dhoundhi) alongwith the systematic testing of water samples at necessary treatment stages, while maintaining accurate records of both water quantity and quality. 2) Operation, Repair & Maintenance of all Raw water gravity Mains , Sector Gravity Mains, Distribution System, Scour Pipes & Fire Fighting Pipe Lines. Fire hydrants & including cost of addressing and rectifying leaks in pipeline systems. 3) Operation, Repair & Maintenance of all civil structures i.e. Intake System(trench weir, De-gravelling Chamber, Desilting tank), WTPs, Sector Storage Tanks, Pump Houses, Steel truss bridge, suspension bridge etc. Ensuring Water Treatment of Raw water having high turbidity during monsoon by applying required chemicals (such as lime and alum) alongwith the associated costs of these chemicals. 4) Operation, Repair, replacement and Poly Aluminium Chloride PAC & Maintenance of all appurtenances such as Sluice Valves, NRVs, scour valves and all equipment related to automation System 5) Operation, Repair & Maintenance of all Pumping Machinery including cost of oil and greasing repairs, replacement of worn out/damaged parts & Maintenance of burnt motors i/c record keeping. 6) Operation, Repair & Maintenance of Gaseous chlorination system including the expenses associated with refilling of chlorine gas cylinders i/c record keeping. 7) The contractor must repaint all civil structures, including pump houses, storage tanks, water treatment plants, steel truss bridges, and suspension bridges etc. after a duration of two and a half years. All the premises and civil structures shall be maintained neat and clean free from all unwanted vegetation, shrubs, weeds. Proper arboriculture work shall be done at all WTPs and pump houses.

8) The expenses associated with acquiring suitable tools, equipment, skilled and unskilled labour, spare parts, lubricants, chemicals, bleaching agents, instruments, equipment, stationery, and any other necessary materials for operation and maintenance, excluding energy costs, must be considered & Maintaining Complaint Cell 24x7 with required number of expert complaint attendant. All operations will adhere to the latest CPHEEO manual on water supply and treatment, HP PWD/JSV specifications, departmental standards and directions issued by Engineer-in-Charge from time to time and sound Engineering practice. The operation and maintenance of the entire system will be conducted over a period of three years. For 1st Year

Special Provisions for Monsoon Season:-

Hiring of Hydraulic Excavator cum loader for cutting in earth work, removal of slips, cleaning of drains and catch pit / dressing of berm in all kinds of soil and trimming of side slopes and disposing of earth upto any lead from various sites of work with in all leads and lifts and to entir satisfaction of Engineer - in - Charge. Any loss to the public / private property or any accident etcetera happened during the course of hiring period shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor. The repair and spares including watch and ward of machines shall also be borne by the contractor / owner. The daily log book will be maintained at site which should be duly verified by the Engineer - in - Charge. FOR WORKING HOURS
