Forming ring bund to an average width of 4.00 m and height of 5.00 m using coconut posts of average 25cm dia and 7 to 9 m in length driven to an average depth of 2m from the river bed at 100 cm c/c in tworows and braced inside with one fourth split coconut posts tied with coir at heights of 1.00m, 3.00 m and5.00m from bottom and fixing bamboo mats in two layers to inside bracers using steel binding wire. Thealternate vertical posts are diagonally supported from outside half split coconut posts having length5.50m plus 1.00m driven to bed.
