Welding by gas or electric plant including transportation of plant at site etc. complete

Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, suspended floors, roofs having slope up to 15° landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Reinforced cement concrete works in walls(any thickness)including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts excluding the cost of centring, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement.

a) 1:1.5:3 ( 1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) Up to floor five level

Centring and shuttering,including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for.:-

Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders.

Columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts

Suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and access platform

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level.

a) Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more

Smooth finishing of the exposed surface of R.C.C. work with 6 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 fine sand).

Placing of anchor bolts in sets corresponding to the requirement of tower erection including all labours and handling charges and checking with template issued from BSNL in line , level, plumb etc. as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.complete.

Demolishing RCC tower foundation structure at level up to floor three level manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars, disposal of building debris including lifting down from floor three level to ground level , loading , mechanical transportation and unloading at approved dumping ground within a lead of 5 km as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer’s specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete.

On concrete work

Dismantling with care superstructure of three legged communication tower (upto 24 Mtr height roof top tower ) including dismembering Structural sections of the tower viz.angles,flats, channels, gusset plate, base plate, bolts, nuts, ladder, working platform, cable tray, antenna fixtures, lightning arrestor , all cables of diameter up to 50mm dia,BTS ,DG,Battery sets ,PP rack etc from roof top to ground floor building etc and stacking within 50 Mtr lead etc., complete as directed by the Engineer - in Charge. (The rate shall be inclusive of cost of providing safety measures, insurance charges and all labour involved in the operation including hire charges and mobilisation charges of tools and plants etc. and nothing extra shall be paid on any account.)

Supplying MS foundation bolts, bolts and nuts for tower all complete etc at site.

Transportaion of tower materials by mechanical transport from Kandanadu kavala RTT site to SSA store near AL Jacob Over bridge at Ernakulam( approximately20km) including ,loading,unloading at SSA store ,sorting and stacking etc. complete. The section wise bill of quantity of the tower materials shall be prepared and handed over to the in-charge of stores.

Transportaion of tower materials by mechanical transport from SSA store near AL Jacob Over bridge at Ernakulam to new site (Approx 20 km) including ,loading at SSA store,unloading at new site ,Shfting from Ground level to Second floor level ,sorting and stacking etc. complete. The section wise bill of quantity of the tower materials shall be prepared and handed over to the in-charge of stores.

Erection of three legged light weight roof top communication tower(NB) indicated in item no.13(a) above.

Providing and applying paint of approved specification over the four legged light weight communication tower ( NB ) indicated in item no.14(a) above.(One coat of Etch Primer(MRF, Asian paint or equivalent)should be applied first followed by two coats of zinc chromate primer should be applied.Over that two or more coats of enamel paint Orange/ White of approved brand and manufacture should be applied.)

Supply of maintenance free earthing system consisting of UL listed copperbonded steel electrode with minimum 254 micron copper coating all through with ground enhancement material(GEM) tested for leaching & TCLP as per IEC62561-7 with heavy duty inspection pit with green cover made on polyamide material which can handle minimum 5 ton staticload. The systems shall be conforming to IS3043,lS/IEC 62305, IEC 61643-5-54,UL467 and the rod tested for dimention, marking, tensilestrength,salt mist,coating thickness, electrical resistivity test before and after corresion test etc as per IEC 62561-2. Each set shall consists of following BOM (1)17.2mm dia,3metre rod,minimum 254 micron copper bonding steel electrode-1No. (2) Ground enhancrnent material of 22Kg-(2bagof11.3Kg/each) (3)Earth inspection pit with green cover having a minimum load bearing capacity of 5 ton staticload.

Providing GI strips of size 25x5 mm one end connected to the tower leg with GI bolt and nuts including providing and connecting alround the four legs at the bottoms of tower and the other end shall be connected to the GI plate earth/ring eartgh as per item 15 with 2.Nos. of 10 mm dia GI bolts and nuts including clamping the down lead flat to walls/stems without any sharp bends using necessary clamps and screws as directed by the Engineer -in-charge.

Providing and fixing spike type copper lightening arrester of 1.0mtr length with necessary fixtures at top of the tower. The spike shall be insulated from tower by Teflon material. The spike shall be connected to G.I plate earthing by GI strip which shall be paid seperately.

Providing G.I bus bar of 25x5 mm connected to the tinned bottom portion of lightning conductor and to the ring earth/plate earth with 2 Nos of 10 mm dia brass nuts & bolts at each connection. The both ends of the bus bar shall be tinned properly and the entire length of bus bar shall be drawn through heat shrink sleeve and shall be shrunk properly. The bus bar shall be clamped to the tower building walls at uniform interval of 1.5 Mt.. using proper clamps such that the bus bar shall be well insulated from the tower building walls all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing PVC pipes of pressure class of 4 Kg/Sq.cm complete fittings and clamps including cutting and making good the walls etc complete

Credit for usable steel reinforcement obtained from demolition of Reinforced Cement Concrete structural members.
