REPAIRS AND RESURFACING OF CERTAIN ROADS AND ROAD FURNITURE, ROAD MARKING PAINT OF CERTAIN LOCATIONS IN TECH AREA AT AF STATION JAMNAGAR

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm, depth exc 50 mm and not exc 100 mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates of granite, trap or basalt stone of grading 2 (63 mm to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size), blinded with screening of hard stone of grading ‘A’, spread, watered and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, hollows made up to form true surface and consolidated to required gradient and camber etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for repairs to pot holes, not exc 1 square metre each, including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, on existing road surfaces, and making good applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm and providing premixed bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.5% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping, depth of pot holes exc 30mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism over old black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Bituminous premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on Job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading uniformly by means of Mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes : (i) The actual requirement of binder shall be as per the job mix formula and test specified. However quantity from the mix formula found more than specified 5.5% same will be provided with no extra cost to the Govt. In case binder content found to be less than 5.5% as per mix formula as specified in Schedule 'A' shall be adusted @ the rate of 46.90/KG for the less quanity of bitumen used. The quantity of 5.5 % mentioned is exclusive of any wastage and no wastage shall be taken onto account for the purpose of above adjustment.

M&L applying bitumen of VG-10 @ 7.5 Kg per 10 Sqm over semi dense bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete surface, spread with mechanical spreayer unit at a temperature of 180°C to 200°C and spreading stone dust @ 0.30 Cum per ten sqm, all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing, laying, spreading premix bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.5% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous macadam in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading by means of mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking paint (retro-reflective with glass bends @ 250 gms per sqm) of specified shade / colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully / semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications. (Note: Thickness 2.5 mm shall be exclusive of glass beads as per IRC : 35)

Dismantling old road sign board of any type and any description including posts or struts, including taking out embedded portion in concrete/brick work, masonry etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc 0.50 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exc 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 m and making good surface in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for fabrication and erecting of Road sign Board of size 1200mm x 1200 mm (size of aluminium composite panel) errect in position as directed adopting the following specification / measurement.

(a) Main Post 02 Nos of stainless steel pipe 50 mm dia & 1.5 mm wall thickness of grade 316, lenght of each post 2.10 mtr( 1.8 mtr above GL and 0.30 mtr below GL)

(b) Frame around aluminium sheet , fabrication with 25 mm size stainless steel square tube with 1.5 mm wall thickness including fixing arrangement for aluminium sheet and welded on main post.

(c) 3 mm thick aluminium composite panel material of 2 mm thick mineral core sandwiched between two aluminium sheets (each 0.5 mm thick). The aluminium composite panel shall be coil coated, with kynar 500 based PVDF / Lumiflon based fluoropolymer resin coating of approved colour and shade on exposed face and polymer (service) coating on other face, fixed over SS frame as mentioned at serial No 10.01 (b) above. Make:- ALSTRONG or equivalent make approved by the GE.

(d) Providing both side of aluminium sheet High intensity prismatic grade retro reflective sheeting as base and with cut out massage (legends borders, letters numerals, site map sheeting, pasting as per manufactures instruction . Make : 3M or equivalent make approved by the GE. (Note; Stainless steel section mentioned above shall be of grade 316.)

S&F in replacement Speed bumps of size 750mmx250mmx75mm made of sturdy plastice high resistance to severe impact and harsh weather conditions with dovetail interlocking type sub units made to bind prefectly into one firm bump having pre-coloured material (black/yellow) and UV stablizers to keep them prepetually colourful studded with with reflectors on either side fixed on road surface with & including nails / screws / bolts / polymer / epoxy adhesive etc all as per manufacturer’s instructions including filling up hollow portion of bumps with & including PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable / broken speed bumps of any type. Note :- Star Cart No.“GP 1006 or equivalent of make 3M / TATA / ‘DARK EYE.

S&F in repair road safety convex mirror made up of polycarbonate reflective with hood for road turning, intersection, curves, ‘T’ junction, etc, unbreakable & strong, mounted on and body made of ABS / Fiber / Plastic of size 100 cm dia fixed over & including 80 mm bore MS pipe of 2.4 Metre length duly powder coated, fixed with adjustable clamp, pole fixed in plain cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block of size 450x450x450mm deep including necessary, excavation & earthwork, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge Make : Road Star Cat No: RSCM-100 / equivalent of Tata / 3M / Dark Eye Notes : (i) A mild steel base plate of size 250mm x 250mm x 3mm shall be welded at bottom of pole. (ii) All steel & iron surfaces other than powder coated shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer.

S&F in repair raised reflective road stud (Pavement marker/cat eyes), manufactured with high impact resistant aluminium alloy body of size 100mm x 100m x20mm two side fitted with polycabonate micro prismatic reflector element on two sides, fixed over road surface with epoxy adhesive as per manufactureres instructions all as specified and as diredted. Make : Dark Eye Cat part No DA 971 or equivalent of make Tata / 3M /Road star
