Providing Complete Services including raw material and input for agriculture development and livestock development works under Corporate Social Responsibility of NTPC JPL

Fertilizers ,insecticides,pesticides and required other inputs in the field as per need based on field conditon/s : Annual activity : ( Year - I 9 Nos ) ; (Year - II 21 Nos) ; Scope includes : Fertilizer dose for existing Mango, &Cashew, and new Guawa, Mango orchards : Total 50 plants in 1 acre of area in each orchard.

Livestock development centre : Providing on call door step Artificial Insemination (AI) services in cattle in the selcted villages in 12 Kms. radius from NTPC-JPL plant . It is Including Liquid Nitrogen purchasing , its transportation , sex sorted semen doses, Semen preservation, cryocanes containers for tranportation capacity of 55 ltr. capacity , for storgae of semen dose 35 litres and 3 litres capacity for door step services. consumables like sheeth packets, AI gloves, Deworming in cattle , feed and growth promoter of progenices born through AI and accessories by trained and experienced AI technician/LD officer. : No. of Live stock deve. Centre : 01 . Same services will remain continued in Year - II also. Assuming approx. 650 nos. AI in cattle per annum.

Veterinary health camp : Including required medicines, tent, extension expanses, hororium for doctor and suppport staff , including misce. items etc. : Year - I 16 nos ; Year - II 17 nos. Total 33 nos. of camps in two years.

Dewarming dose in cattle : Scope : Bolus 3 gr preferably Panacure , appropriate powder/liquid . Only for progenies born through AI only. Year - I 1800 doses ; Year - II 2500 nos. Total 4300 nos. in two years.

Cattle feed : High quality cattle feed for progenies born through AI programme only. Feed Preferably of Godrej company. Year - I 1500 kgs ; Year - II 1400 kgs.

Growth Promotor : Growth promotor for progenies born through AI programme. High quality growth promotor for calves. Year - I 1250 kgs ; Year - II 1600 nos. Total 2800 kgs. In two years.

IRESA Model Bio Gas : Scope : Procurement , tranportation to JPL site and installation of Moulded Biogas unit , preferably of Sintex company, capacity 2 cubic meter , along with Suitable good quality gas stove, rubber tube of high quality , high quality control valve , etc. with required accessories. Year - I 5 nos ; Year - II 9 nos. Total 14 nos. in two years.

Fodder Development : Providing good quality fodder seeds for 1 acre to the owner of progenies born through AI. Seed and fodder suitable to the area. Seeds like Berseem, Lucern , African tall maize, guinea grass , Napier hybrid, Anjan etc. Year - I 30 nos , ; Year - II 50 nos. Total 80 nos. in two years.

Vermicompost Unit : Scope : Construction of Vermicompost unit 10' x 3' x 3' dimension of bricks. Complete construction with material , providing 5 kg. earth worms for each unit. Year - I 15 nos ; Year - II 30 nos. Total 45 units in two years.

CAPACITY BUILDING : Arranging relevant resource person/s from time to time according to subject of the training.

Farmers Training / Awarness meeting on agriculture and animal husbandry issues : assuing 30 participants per training . Scope also includes arrangement of approporiat resource person/s. IEC material, Snacks , other required material . Year - I 19 Nos ; Year - II 22 nos. Total 43 nos. of trainings in two years.

Advanced training through Subject matter Expert : Year - I 3 nos ; Year - II 7 nos. Total 11 nos. in two years. Other scope includes as per above mentioned training details. Resouce person will be Subject Matte Specialist like Scientist from KVK , Agri. university or from other institute , successful enterpruner/s. etc.

Exposure visit of community : it includes identification of place according to activity in consultation with Head-CSR of NTPC-JPL and organizing complete exposure visit. Resouce person, IEC material, stationary, Hiring AC vehicle, hygenic and safe snaks,food , stay for participants. Travel insurance mandatory for all participants. Vehicle must be with a valid taxi permit with all relavant valid documents (Valid driving license of driver, valid fitness of vehicle, valid RC of the vehicle , Valid insurance of the vehicle etc. The vehicle must be in good working condition and should not be older than 3 years at the time of usage (supported by RC). Tour limit considering approximate 275 km. one side from NTPC-JPL plant. Year - I 2 nos, Year - II 2 nos.

AGRI INTERVENTION

Demonstration plot with complete Package of Practise ,Complete input like good quality seeds, fertilizers, insecticides, pesticides, fungicides, innoculation material , small tools and implements (if any), technical know how for Kharif , Rabi and Summer season crops suitable to local agro climatic conditions. Demontration plots may be of ceral crops, grains, millets, vegetables, Cucurbitaceae . The demo plot may be planned for variety , techniques etc. Year - I 30 nos ; Year - II 58 nos.

Vehicle hiring for Project Work: Hiring vehicle for CSR works on as and when required basis. Considering approx. 275 kms. one side from NTPC-JPL. Any from Amaze ,Bolero , Nexon, Zest , Dezire vehicle with AC with all relevant valid documents like Valid RC , insurance , Fitness, Valid Driving license of the sitting driver. Vehicle must be taxi permit, safe to use and in good working condition including good conditions of tyres . In special case Innova may be hired depending upon situation. The said vehicle should not be older than 3 years at the time of usage (Supported by RC). Year - I 20 nos ; Year - II 20 nos. Total 40 nos. in two years.

Drip Irrigation - 1acre area : Vegetable cultivation/Horticulture ; Scope includes , Primary survey , Purchase , transportation and installation at site. Preferred make : Jain irrigation and Netafim . In Year - I 8 nos ; Year - II 2 nos. Total 10 nos. in two years.

Providing fishing net to fishermen : Providing approximate 8 kgs. Of fishing net of different sieves to each fisherman. Year - I 80 nos ; Year - II 75 nos. Total 155 nos. of fishermen in two years.

Electrfic motor / Diesel pump 2/3 HP capacity for irrigation purpose depending upon field condition : For community usage , Scope : procurement, transportation , installation at the site. Preferred Compnies like Kirloskar, CRI , Crompton, Texmo. Year - I 6 nos. . This work is to be done in Year - I only.

Need based non planned community development activities : Year - I @4% of total activity cost ; Year - II 2.5% of total activity cost
