Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m :

a) All kinds of soil.

i) Pipes, cables etc. exceeding 80 mm dia. but not exceeding 300 mm dia

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

a) 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand(zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 3.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level in all shapes and sizes in :

a) Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Providing and fixing Ist quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS: 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approvedmake, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of stepsand dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete.

Providing and fixing ISI marked flush door shutters conforming to IS : 2202 (Part I) non-decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched commercial 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters:

a) 30 mm thick including ISI marked Stainless Steel butt hinges with necessary screws.

Providing and fixing chromium plated brass 100 mm mortice latch and lock with 6 levers and a pair of lever handles of approved quality with necessary screws etc. complete.

Providing and fixing aluminium/Brass sliding door bolts ISI marked anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade with nuts and screws etc. complete :

Providing and fixing to existing door frames.

a) 30 mm thick factory made Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) door shutter made of styles and rails of a uPVC hollow section of size 60x30 mm and wall thickness 2 mm (± 0.2 mm), with inbuilt decorative moulding edging on one side. The styles and rails mitred and joint at the corners by means of M.S. galvanised/ plastic brackets of size 75x220 mm having wall thickness 1.0 mm and stainless steel screws. The styles of the shutter reinforced by inserting galvanised M.S. tube of size 25x20 mm and 1 mm (± 0.1 mm) wall thickness. The lock rail made up of ‘H’ section, a uPVC hollow section of size 100x30 mm and 2 mm (± 0.2 mm) wall thickness fixed to the shutter styles by means of plastic/ galvanised M.S. ‘U’ cleats. The shutter frame filled with a uPVC multi-chambered single panel of size not less than 620 mm, having over all thickness of 20 mm and 1 mm (±

0.1 mm) wall thickness . The panels filled vertically and tie bar at two places by inserting horizontally 6 mm galvanised M.S. rod and fastened with nuts and washers, complete as per manufacturer’s specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing 1mm thick M.S. sheet door with frame of 40x40x6 mm angle iron and 3 mm M.S. gusset plates at the junctions and corners, all necessary fittings complete, including applying a priming coat of approved steel primer.

(a)Using M.S. angels 40x40x6 mm for diagonal braces

Providing and laying Ceramic glazed floor tiles of size 300x300 mm(thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of 1st quality conforming to IS : 15622 of approved make in colours such as White, Ivory, Grey, Fume Red Brown, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement :4 Coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigment etc.,., complete.

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required, to achieve even shade and colour.

Two coats.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :

(a)Two or more coats on old work.

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground , all complete as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge.

a) With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand).

Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer, 3 mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with glass fibre matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 litre/sqm by the samemembrane manufactured of density at 25°C, 0.87 - 0.89 kg/litre and viscocity 70 - 160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints etc., and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 350/300 N/5 cm.

Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 60/80N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto -2°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane :

(a)3 mm thick

Providing and fixing white vitreous china pedestal type water closet (European type W.C. pan) with seat and lid, 10 litre low level white P.V.C. flushing cistern, including flush pipe, with manually controlled device (handle lever), conforming to IS : 7231, with all fittings andfixtures complete, including cutting and making good the walls and floors wherever required :

a) W.C. pan with ISI marked white solid plastic seat and lid

Providing and fixing water closet squatting pan (Indian type W.C.pan ) with 100 mm sand cast Iron P or S trap, 10 litre low level white P.V.C. flushing cistern, including flush pipe, with manually controlled device (handle lever) conforming to IS : 7231, with all fittings and fixtures complete, including cutting and making good the walls andfloors wherever required:

(a) White Vitreous china Orissa pattern W.C. pan of size 580x440 mm with integral type foot rests

Providing and fixing wash basin with C.I. brackets, 15 mm PTMT pillar cock, 32 mm PTMT waste coupling of standard pattern, including painting of fittings and brackets, cutting and making good the walls wherever required. White Vitreous China Flat back wash basin size 550x400 mm with single 15 mm PTMT pillar cock.

Providing and fixing white vitreous china flat back or wall corner type lipped front urinal basin of 430x260x350 mm or 340x410x265 mm sizes respectively.

Providing and fixing mirror of superior glass (of approved quality) and of required shape and size with plastic moulded frame of approved make and shade with 6 mm thick hard board backing :

Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply, including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings, including fixing the pipe with clamps at 1.00 m spacing. This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement and testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge. : Internal work - Exposed on wall

This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement, trenching, refilling & testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge : External work

Making connection of G.I. distribution branch with G.I. main of following sizes by providing and fixing tee, including cutting and threading the pipe etc. complete :

Providing and placing on terrace (at all floor levels) polyethylene water storage tank, IS : 12701 marked, with cover and suitable locking arrangement and making necessary holes for inlet, outlet and overflow pipes but without fittings and the base support for tank.

Providing and fixing PTMT soap Dish Holder having length of 138 mm, breadth 102 mm, height of 75 mm with concealed fitting arrangements. Weighing not less than 106 gms.

Providing and fixing PTMT extension nipple for water tank pipe, fittings of approved quality and colour.

a) 25mm nominal bore. Weighing not less than 62 gms.

Providing and fixing at all floors Type B - SWR PVC pipes of approved make including all fittings such as plain and door bends, tees, elbows, equal and unequal junctions, heel rest sanitary bends, collars etc.( except floor traps/P traps) confirming to IS13592, IS 14735, including jointing with solvent and providing necessary supports, clamps/MS brackets at specified intervals. The joints of pipe and fittings shall be of drip seal jointing in exposed areas like in shafts etc. and pasted type (solvent ) for all other locations all complete and as per directions of Engineer - in - charge.MS brackets shall be paid separately

Removing glass panes from windows and replacing them with new glass panes with putty and nails wherever necessary : float glass panes of thickness 4mm

a) for windows in ground floor and /or for windows which can be accessed from inside of the room / bolcony with ladder arrangement wherever necssary.

b) for windows in upper floors ( other than ground floor ) up to 8 floors with necessary Jhoola arrangement

Charges for minor Repairs to wooden panelled/flush doors / window setc., . Cost includes all labour for attending minor repairs like sides planing for proper functioning and refixing screws after attending necessary repairs etc., with necessary screws, nails etc., complete (Cost of wood will be paid separately,but i/c required screws )

a) Wooden door / window/Cupboards

Cleaning of canopy/ chajjas by removing leaves grass dust, rubbish and other deposited / accumulated materials etc including removal of blockages/chockages of khurras/spouts of terrace/chajjas etc by disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground out side periphery of the building. (plan area of thechajja/canopy will be measured for payment)

a) Blocked chajas, inaccessible canopy & like upto First floor level .

b) Blocked chajas, inaccessible canopy & like Above first floor level .

Charges for Cleaning of terrace slab, rain water entry spouts, khurras/ depressions/sunk slabs and surrounding areas etc., by removing leaves,silt, grass, dust, rubbish, small plants and other deposited / accumulated materials from terrace etc.,for smooth flow of water including disposal of waste etc., complete as per the directions of Engineer-In-Charge.( entaire Terrace of one building shall be measured for payment).

Removing the damaged sanitary and water supply fittings and replacing them with new fittings including necessary white lead/ lead wool etc complete as directed by the engineer in charge.

Charges for demolising the existing WC pan with trap from position including surrounding lime concrete comple to minium required size to fix new WC pan with trap including jointing with the existing waste, refilling the surroundings

with lime concrete and finishining the floor with cement concrete flooring using required quantity of Fose Rock or equivalant liqued all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in Charge.(The rate includes the disposal of all the debries to the dumpimg ground but excluding the cost of Indian WC/European WC which shall be paid in relevant item.)

Providing clog cleaning of entair drainage system in the compound consisting of manholes, sewer lines, gully traps etc., including removing the sludge, silt, slash, waste etc., from the manholes and disposing the waste out side the compound etc., complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (rate for cleaning of entair drainage system will be measured as one job)

Cleaning of the choked Gully trap Chambers and sewer line upto next manhole from the water entry outlet point in drainage system using rodding,wire/cables etc., to remove all the waste, debris etc., including disposal etc., as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge

Cleaning of existing sanitary pipe alignment of 150/100 /75 mm dia in vertical or Horizontal direction of existing all floors by opening door tee/ bend at each floor , clearing the deposited obstacles including rodding and refixing the doors with new rubber washer and jointing the same job includes replacing door covers, bolts and nuts wherever required to arrest the leakage all as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge(Each opening of door bend and removal of blockages including above operation will be measured as one job.)

Cleaning of existing over head tank/ underground water storage tank by mechanical method of specified TANKCLEAN process in stages: (1) Empty the tank/ sump and make it to near dry, (2) wash the tank internal surfaces and top of the tank with fresh water and clean/ rinse the inside surfaces of side walls, ceiling and floor surfaces perfectly by removing all scalling, fungus etc., with rotary jet mechanism, (3) Removing/ cleaning mud, silt, waste, sludge and garbage from the tankwith sludge pump/ vaccum cleaner and disposing outside the building, (4) After drying applt UV radiation with specified equipment in the tank for 15 minutes to kill the harmfull bacteria etc., complete all as per directions of the Engineer-in-charge.

(The rate includes filling of outlets of tank with cotton during cleaning marking of date of painting on the tanks and cleaning of all the dirt/ waste etc., from the terrace and submission of certificate from specialised agency).

Uprooting & removal of vegetation at walls/roofs/chajjas and floors/drainage systems/water supplying stream of the building/over head tanks or at all levels,any location and applying any special chemical to defective area to prevent vegetation growth and finishing the same with cement concrete/mortar to match the surface of walls/floors/roofs., etc complete as per the directions of engineer-in-charge(cement concrete/ mortar to be paid in separate item.) (Uprooting of vegetation in each location will be measured as one job)

a) Up to floor two level

Dismantling powder coated / anodized aluminium partitons, doors and other frames including proper numbering, loading and unloading,stacking and placing at the required place in the building as directed by the Engineer-in-charge . (Area of partition is measured for payment)

Fixing powder coated / anodized aluminum partitions and doors with available materials after making required sections as per the drawing for powder coated aluminum sections , particle board, glass panels and snap on beading including fixed with rawl plugs and screws or with fixing clips, or with expansion hold fasteners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions at top, bottom and sides wherever required etc, all complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying and jointing unplasticised PVC Eco-drain unique wall structure (Number of "holes" in the wall thickness in longitudinal direction) pipes/ Manhole chambers/ Gully chambers of Type SN4 of Supreme Make or Equivalent conforming to IS : 16098, including joints & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement, with solvent weld and rubber sealing rings including filling alround pipes up to required thickness with Stone dust/ robo sand/ river sand & testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge.

Cleaning of open drainage system in the compound including removing the sludge, silt, slash, waste etc., from the drains and disposing the waste out side the compound etc., complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (rate for cleaning of entair open drainage system will be measured as one job)

Providing and laying of 2.00 mm thick PVC sheet flooring and skirting in approved pattern and manufacture on a smooth and damp proof base (including preparing the existing flooring smooth wherever necessary) using rubber based adhesive (viz. 8753 or equivalent) including rolling with light wooden roller weighing about 5 Kg all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engg-in-Charge.

Cleaning of existing Septic tank by mechanical pumping mechines and necessary labour including providing/spreading atleast 5liters kerosine on top of sludge inside the septic tank to avoid foul smell for the surrounding occupants, the deposited sludge/suspended material/night soil etc., should be removed and transported by mechanical transport beyond municipal limits including dewatering of liquids as directed by the engineer-in-charge.

Removing existing supersil 84G/or tile false ceiling system strips/tiles and refixing wherever required including cleaning etc complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
