Replacing 110kV Suspension insulator
Dismantling of one set suspension clamp with line conductor from 66 kV/110 kV suspension string after lifting the conductor using special appliances, placing the conductor with suspension clamp on tower cross arm, dismantling the string and lowering the string using rope and pulley, then lifting new composite polymer insulator and placing it to the existing U bolt at cross arm using rope and pulley then lifting the line conductor with suspension clamp and connecting the same to the bottom of composite polymer insulator, then releasing the conductor load to the suspension insulator, etc. as per the direction of department staff
Replacing 110kV Tension insulator
Dismantling one set tension string from the 110 kV tension tower and conductor after tensioning the conductor and holding the conductor with the crossarm using special appliances then bringing down the tension string carefully, lifting new composite polymer insulator, connecting new insulator to the U bolt at tower end and tension clamp with conductor at other end, then releasing the conductor load to the tension insulator, etc. complete as per the direction of department staff.
Dismantling one set tension string with conductor from D-shackle of the 66/110kV tension tower after tensioning the conductor by using special appliances after disconnecting jumper connections, then lowering the conductor with tension string, dismantling existing tension clamp with fittings from the conductor, marking the position of the tension hardware fittings after changing the damaged portion of line conductor if any with new conductor and providing single tension hardware fittings/double tension hardware fittings(double tension hardware fittings for road crossings etc.) on the conductor using compressor, replacing porcelain disc insulators with new composite polymer insulators ,re-assembling the insulator to the tension hardware fittings with conductor, lifting the same, re-assembling to the existing D-shackle at the cross arm and giving necessary jumper connections, etc. as per the direction of departmental staff. Special tools if available will be supplied at free of cost.
Transporting materials
Transportation of materials issued departmentally for the work from departmental stores and distribution to locations for erection including storage if necessary, loading and unloading charges with lead of 50 m by head load and initial lift of 1.5m at each end etc. - By lorry over 9km and upto 10km for Insulators and accessories, power conductor accessories and earth conductor accessories etc
Transportation of materials issued departmentally for the work from departmental stores and distribution to locations for erection - By lorry for every additional km or part there of over 10km, for Insulators and accessories, power conductor accessories and earth conductor accessories etc
Transportation of materials issued departmentally for the work from departmental stores and distribution to locations for erection including storage if necessary, loading and unloading charges with lead of 50 m by head load and initial lift of 1.5m at each end etc. - Manual labour for 1km for Insulators and accessories, power conductor accessories and earth conductor accessories etc
