Procurement shall be done from the bidders who have successfully completed any of the following works of 20% of the NIT value in the last three financial years and the current financial year up to the tender closing date:- 1) Supply or installation of bio-toilets in railway coaches or (2) supply/installation of F- type mounting brackets or other type fitting (e.g.Mounting Bracket, Locking Plate, U Bracket, P-Trap, etc.) used in bio-toilets in Railway Coaches or (3) supply/installation of under slung water tank/water-tank bracket & other under gear fittings in Railway Coaches. Firm shall submit documentary evidence as proof of execution of the above work in form of copies of R.note/CRAC/CRN/completion report or any other valid proof of supply or completion of work.

For all items — Commencement : Within 0 Days of issue of Contract, Completion Supply installation : Within 60 Days thereafter and commissioning to be done with in 30days of the supply of material as per consignee requirement.

Payment Terms

Payment shall be done as under:- 1st 20% payment shall be done after successful installation and commissioning of 40% of the total work. 2nd 20% payment shall be done after successful installation and commissioning of 60% of the total work. 3rd 20% payment shall be done after successful installation and commissioning of 80% of the total work. 4th 40% payment shall be done after successful installation and commissioning of 100% of the total work and final issue of work completion certificate by the consignee officer.

Statutory Variation Clause

Statutory Variation in taxes and duties, or fresh imposition of taxes and duties by State/ Central Governments in respect of the items stipulated in the contract (and not the raw materials thereof), within the original delivery period stipulated in the contract, or last unconditionally extended delivery period shall be to Railways' account. Only such variation shall be admissible which takes place after the submission of bid. No claim on account of statutory variation in respect of existing tax/duty will be accepted unless the tenderer has clearly indicated in his offer the rate of tax/duty considered in his quoted rate. No claim on account of statutory variation shall be admissible on account of misclassification by the supplier/ contractor.

Standard Governing Conditions

IRS Conditions of Contract: The contract shall be governed by latest version (along with all correction slips) of IRS conditions of contract, and all other terms and conditions incorporated in the tender documents.
1)The contract shall be governed by IRS conditions of contract at https://ireps.gov.in/ireps/ upload/repository/railway/483/148/public/Revised IRS Condition of contract 21.09.2022.pdf ,latest version and Instructions to Tenderers and General Conditions of tender Indigenous purchases Version14 of June 2024. (2)(a) It may be noted that conditions mentioned in tender schedule on IREPS shall prevail over General Conditions of Contract, which in turn shall prevail over IRS Condition of Contract. (b) Terms & Conditions/Specifications mentioned in NIT shall prevail over conditions mentioned in documents attached with NIT
