CLEANING OF SERVICE TANKS AND REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF FLOAT VALVES/GATE VALVES AND SERVICE TANK UNDER GE (ARMY) TRIVANDRUM

Disconnecting the existing water tanks of capacity exceeding 500 ltrs and not exceeding 1000 Ltrs capacity, setting aside (or lowering if required), dewatering, for repairs, cleaning, sterilization using lab tested cleaning chemicals and removing the dirt, sediments, scale, algae formation from inside of tank and removing from site including stickers mentioning "TANK CLEANED ON" with date, month and year and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position complete all as specified and directed with the following cleaning process of the tanks:- (a) To drain out the water by using exist valve or high capacity dewatering system. (b) Cleaning all the algae from inside the tank by using TERBAC G-5/NB-10/INCHLOR-5 lab tested branded chemicals and scrubbing the walls of the tank by scrubber. (c) Fresh water cleaning with high speed jet pump. (d) Drying the tank and then first stage of bacteria screening and sterilization of the tank using TERBAC G5/NB-60/INCHLOR-5 lab tested branded chemicals. (e) Cleaning the floor of the water tank with heavy duty industrial vacum cleaner. (f) Second stage of bacteria screening and sterilization of water tank by using ultra violet ray ejector covering 360 degree within the tank for killing all suspected bacteria. (g) Third stage of bacteria screening and sterilization of the tank by using TERBAC-G65/NB-60/INOIX-60 lab tested branded chemiclas. Notes: (i) The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for carrying out work on roof top at any height. Necessary safety measures/ precautions as per norms for work men shall be taken to avoid accident or such incident. (ii) Cleaning chemical shall be approved by Engineer -in- Charge and on completion of work sterilization certificate to be submited to Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) The Cleaning needs to be done mechanically by authorized delaer/agent as approved by Engineer-in-Charge

S&F in repair ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high-density plastic ball screwed for 20 mm bore dia of iron/ PVC pipe (Minimum weight 210gms) complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl No. 4.00 here-in-before, but 25mm bore dia (Minimum weight 455gms) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 40 mm bore dia unplasticised PVC pipes as per ASTM-D-1785 sch 40 plastic pipe with pressure rating 10 kgf/cm2 fixed complete to walls, ceilings or in floors etc., any type of pipe including taking up or down old unserviceable steel tubing/ PVC pipes and connections, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks of 500 ltrs capacity (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part I including dismantling of existing unserviceable water tank and connecting inlet and outlet pipe lines complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl No. 13.00 here-in-before, but 1000 ltrs capacity complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs PVC water tank cover suitable for 500 ltrs/ 1000 ltrs capacity complete with fixing accessories complete all as specified and directed.

Collecting drinking water sample in sterilized bottle from source (Pump Houses) for testing the sample at Govt. Analysis Lab, Kerala water Authority, Kerala Government as per the Government norms and submitting the Lab Test Report in the name of Garrison Engineer (A) Trivandrum quarterly during the period of contract as directed by Eng-in Charge complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs ball brass valves, high pressure, with polythene float and flynut complete, screwed for 20 mm bore dia iron pipe or brass ferrule complete all as specified and directed.
