PROVN OF CERTAIN SANCTIONED WORKS AT (PHASE - XVII) OF VARIOUS UNITS AT TEZPUR AREA UNDER GE (S) TEZPUR

Surface Excavation not exc. 30 Cm deep and ave. 15 Cm deep and getting out in Soft/Loose Soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 Metre wide and not exc. 1.50 Metre in depth for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, pier holes etc. not exc. 10 Sqm on plan and not exc. 1.50 Metre in depth and getting out as in Soft/Loose Soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth round, in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, Filling in, including Spreading, Levelling, Watering and Well Ramming in Layers not exc. 25 Cm as in Soft/Loose Soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated Material (Soil) not exc. 50.00 Metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50 Metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Hardcore of gauge not exc. 63 mm, broken brick aggregate deposited, spread andlevelled in layers n exc. 15 Cm thick, watered and rammed to a True Surface, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings , laid in lyers 30 cm in thick spread , levelled and rammed including watering complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying dry coarse sand as in cushioning of under ground electric cable in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23 Cm (15 Cm under the cable & 8 Cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18 Cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Thickness after punning down shall be measured for payment.

M&L Sand filling under floors or in founda-tions including watering and consolidation, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying in trenches Bricks, sub class 'B' over burnt (kiln burnt) old size bricks, laid flat dry with width of the bricks laid to the axis of the cable for protection of cable complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.
