Sealing the incoming line by using sand bags, M.S tapper plug, sealing compound etc as required as per site situation.
Construction of scaffolding with bamboo pole,wodden planks, coir rope etc. suitable for working.
Complete dewatering the gate chamber by using portable pumps until completion of work.
Dismantling and taking out the valve from the existing position by chain pulley block, tripod and necessary gas cutting and other lifting arrangements.
Dismantling of the valve including body, bonnet, G.M spindle, bolts, nut etc.
Renewing, fitting & fixing of existing spindle with G.M nut including lapping & matching of the same as per sample.
Supply fitting fixing of the G.M seat rings to valve body.
Supply and re-fitting of body, bonnet, gland etc. with new sets of bolts, nuts, washers, gaskets etc. by lowering the valve with chain pulley block, tripod etc.
Renewing of the existing lifting gear assembly by replacing worn out spindle, bush, bearing (reputed make) etc.
Hydraulic pressure testing certificate of valve to be submitted.
Thorough painting of the valve by 2 coats of red lead primer and anti corrosive paint.
Re-fixing the valve in its proper position and fitting fixing with nut bolts including lowering the whole assembly by chain pulley block, tripod etc.
Assembly lead screws, lead nut, Bevel gear shaft etc. & properly fitting fixing the pedestal & sluice valve including necessary greasing.
Open out the seal from the incoming line by removing sand bags and M.S tapper plug by engaging under water diver and trial run.
