Note - WPC shall be measured and paid separately. | 1,150 | Sqm | - | - |
| 3 | M & L of water proofing treatment to roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane including removal of old membrane as per manufacturer’s instructions with following course of description below :-
(a) One coat of cement slurry @ 3.0 kg per SQM admixed with acrylic bonding compound SBR Latex liquid polymer as to be used for bonding of new concrete / mortar to old surface as per manufacturer direction and finishing the surface even and fair (without using extra cement) as in roof padding to receive roof treatment
(b) Applying a priming coat of bituminious primer @ 0.30 Kg /Sqm, till the surface is properly impregnated.
(c) APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3kg/sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non wove fabric (wt. not less than 150 gms/sqm) land on primed surface by forced application complete all as specified., as per the manufacturer's instructions with side over lap of 75 mm and end overlap of 100 mm. All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer (torching overlap by propane or butane gas torch ) and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as a monolithic layer.
(d) Apply two coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg / Sqm each coat over APP membrane. | 1,150 | Sqm | - | - |
| 4 | M&L PCC 1:5:10 type E-2 (using 40 mm graded brick aggregate) as in filling, mass concrete, sunken floor etc complete all as specified and as directed. | 5 | Cum | - | - |
| 5 | M&L for 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:3) as in sunken floors mixed with and including liquid water proofing compound (as per manufacturer's instructions) finishing the surface even and smooth with and including applying two coats of SBR Latex/ Dr Fixit or equivalent on plastered or unplastered surface complete all as specified and as directed. | 35 | Sqm | - | - |
| 6 | Providing and applying a two-component, acrylic polymer-modified cementitious waterproofing coating (Fosroc Brushbond or approved equivalent) over floor slabs and vertical walls of sunken portions in toilets, bathrooms, and balconies to a total cured dry film thickness of 1.5mm to 2.0mm. The execution shall include the following sequence of operations:
1. Preparing the substrate by mechanical scrubbing, wire brushing, or high-pressure washing to remove all laitance, loose plaster, dirt, oil, and construction debris.
2. Opening up structural cracks up to 5mm width into a V-groove profile, cleaning, and sealing them flush using a polymer-modified repair mortar (Fosroc Renderoc CS or approved equivalent).
3. Constructing a 50mm x 50mm smooth, curved angle fillet (coving) at all horizontal-to-vertical structural junctions using a 1:3 cement-sand mortar modified with a styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) bonding agent (Fosroc Nitobond AR or approved equivalent).
4. Pre-wetting the concrete surface to a saturated surface dry (SSD) condition immediately prior to chemical application to prevent moisture absorption from the mix.
5. Mixing the two-component chemical using a slow-speed mechanical drill (400-500 rpm) to achieve a uniform, lump-free slurry consistency.
6. Applying the first coat uniformly using a stiff-bristled nylon brush or roller over the horizontal floor slab and extending it vertically up the walls to a minimum height of 300mm above the final finished floor level.
7. Allowing the first coat to dry for 4 to 6 hours, followed by the application of the second coat applied strictly perpendicular (at a 90-degree cross-direction) to the first coat to ensure full, pinhole-free coverage.
8. Curing the completed membrane system naturally under ambient air for a minimum of 72 hours.
9. Conducting a mandatory water ponding test by plugging drains and filling the area with water to a depth of 75mm, keeping it submerged for a continuous period of 48 hours to check for dampness or structural leakage. Complete all as specified and directed. | 35 | Sqm | - | - |
| 7 | Providing, preparing, and executing a high-pressure mechanical injection grout collar specifically around 100mm nominal diameter drainage, waste, and soil pipe penetrations passing through the sunken concrete slabs. The work shall include the following sequence of operations:
I. Chipping and widening the core-cut perimeter around the 100mm diameter PVC/C.I pipe to a minimum depth of 50mm and structural width of 25mm, followed by thorough cleaning to remove all loose concrete, dust, and laitance.
II. Roughening the external surface of the 100mm PVC pipe at the junction using coarse emery/sandpaper to create a rough mechanical bond profile.
III. Fixing heavy-duty PVC/mechanical injection nozzles/packers at designated intervals around the 100mm pipe periphery, securely anchored using a rapid-setting cementitious plugging mortar (Fosroc Renderoc Plug or approved equivalent).
IV. Sealing the entire annular surface face of the cavity around the pipe with the same rapid-setting mortar to prevent grout blowout during pressure application.
V. Mixing and pressure-injecting a pre-bagged, free-flowing, low-viscosity, non-shrink cementitious grout (Fosroc Conbextra GP2 or approved equivalent) through a mechanical or manual grout pump at a water-to-powder ratio of 4.5 to 4.8 litres per 25kg bag.
VI. Injecting continuously from the lowest port until clean grout flows from the adjacent or upper ports, sealing the nozzles progressively under pressure to fill all internal concrete capillaries and gaps around the 100mm pipe.
VII. Cutting/snapping off the protruding nozzles flush with the concrete surface after a minimum curing period of 24 hours, followed by finishing the surface smooth to receive the waterproofing membrane layer. Complete all as specified and directed. | 10 | Each | - | - |
| 8 | Dismantling asbestos cement (corrugated, semicorrugated etc) sheets in roof coverings complete all as specified and directed | 155 | Sqm | - | - |
| 9 | S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa (AZ 150) as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws including complete all as specified and directed. | 140 | Sqm | - | - |
| 10 | S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa (AZ 150) as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws including complete all as specified and directed. | 15 | Sqm | - | - |
