OUTSOURCING OF DG SETS AT DEFENCE LAB JODHPUR

Out sourcing, operation and maintenance of DG set 2x750 KVA installed at main power house (round the clock) and 1x 320 KVA installed in high precession workshop (during office hrs from 0900 hrs to 1730 hrs) including all related panels, installed in new technical complex power house at defence lab jodhpur, in three shift (round the clock 24 hours) during failure of electric supply in three shift each shift of 08 Hrs complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. DHPPN will be issued to contractor under Schedule'B' free for filling only. Operator shall have ITI passed (Electricial) and certificate shall be submitted before start of work 08 hours duration and 03 operator shall be deployed for 3 shift in 24 hrs (One Electricial in Each Shift). DG set installation in operation state along with an inventory of various items equipment and electrical fittings will be handed over for proper accounting and up keep at the time of commencement of the contract. The taking over plants on expiry of contract shall be all as per inventory and any damage loss to plants shall be made good by contractor before handing over the plant. In case of any dispute decision of AGE(I) will be final and binding. The checks, inspection shall be carried out as under

(a) Checking and adjusting of valve tappet clearance (b) Checking of Engine lubrication system, fuel system, air system, cooling system, mechanical adjustments/rectification and electrical system. (c) Checking of lube oil filter if necessary (d) Changing/ cleaning of fuel pre & fine filter (e) Contractor should maintain proper printed log sheet as per sample given by the department. (f) contractor should complete service of both DG set interval of five month and also replacing the UNSV parts as oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, changing of coolant and other misc spares for smooth operation of DG set(cost of above spares paid seperately (g) Cleaning of air filter (h) Checking of 'V' belt and adjusting the tension (i) Checking of exhaust turbo charger (j) Checking and cleaning of breather pipes tightness. (k) Checking of alternator terminals and cable lligheners etc (l) Checking of safety controls operation (m) Checking of speed governors and engine shut down for proper functioning (n) Checking of proper functioning of self starter and battery charging (o) Greasing of generator

(vii) Staff shall be wear uniform indicating name of staff and firm name. If staff shall be found without uniform penalty @ 500/- shall be imposed. (viii) Log book of each DG set shall be maintained, shift wise and put up to Engineer-in-Charge and daily checked and signed by JE E/M. Carrying out preventive maintenance, checking as per manufacturer's recommendations and to make proper functioning/ serviceability of u/s RPM meter and hour meter and all engine parameters gauges throughout the CA period and if required repace with new one. Note:- Service of DG set carried out by authorised dealer only (kirloskar only)
