SPECIAL REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS AT AHMEDABAD CANTT

Repair to pathholes any depth, not exec 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 sqm, binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (incl supply of premixed mecadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exec 30 mm all as specified and directed.

M & L for premix bituminious macadam using paving bitumen (VG-30) laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L preparing surfaces of black top by wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc; and applying evenly priming/tack coat with bituminous primer VG-10 at 5 kg per 10 sqm all as specified and directed.

M & L bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete, 30mm consolidated thickness, with 5.5% binder content(paving bitumen VG-30) by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant, spread by using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller, complete to a uniform surface all as specified and direted.

M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated surfaces of road and painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc., on road pavements and the like n exc 10 cm wide with thermoplastic paint 2 mm thick (white or golden or yellow) all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repair solar road studs of size 125 mm x 125 mm x 25 mm Model No OS-810 of make Oscar or equivlent make fixed as per manufacture instructions.

S&F in repair road studs (Cat's eye) of size 100 mm x 100 mm x 20 mm Model No OS-780 of make Oscar or equivlent make fixed as per manufacture instructions.
