Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in Ground floors and paving n.exe 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) and including removing unserviceable material,outside defence land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 18 to 20mm thick machine cut pre-polished kota stone slab as in flooring, tread and similar work over and including 20mm thick cement screed bed in CM (1:3) laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including necessary grinding, rubbing and mirror polishing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 18 to 20mm thick machine cut pre polished kota stone slab as in riser of steps, full length in single piece without joint, of stair width / skirting laid over and incling 10mm thick cement rendering in CM (1:3) and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade including necessary grinding, rubbing and polishing and bullnosing including taking down cement plaster on brick or concrete surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

S&F windows & ventilators fabricated from rolled formed GI Section made of Galvanised steel colour coated/ powder coated (PPGI Sheets) (Base steel as per IS 513 ‘’D’’ quality. Galvanised as per IS: 277 with Zinc of 90 Gsm/SqMt w. PAINT: Pre-Painted sections should be with primer coat of epoxy primer of 5-7 microns thick, finish painted with a polyester paint of 12-16 microns thick and back coated with alkyd backer of 5-7 microns or powder coated with pure polyester powder upto 50-60 microns thick. GI Section of 0.58mm thick in single rebate windows of size and section of outer frame, Mullion, shutter and beading etc as per specification specified in CE BZ TD-158, Sheet 1/2 & 2/2. Window shall be provided with powder coated MS grill/ guard bars made of 10mm MS square bar welded to 6 x 12mm MS Flat with countersunk holes at both vertical ends . Gap between the bars should not be more than 100mm. Window frames shall be fixed to brick/ concrete masonry by using nylon self expension caps and 75/ 100 mm MS screws after drilling in walls. VC Black Gypsum Drywall screws should be used while fixng corner brackets, stay, hinges, mullion caps of windows complete all as specified and directed. Note : Windows/ ventilators will be fabricated as per specification specified in CE BZ TD-158 Sheet 1/2 & 2/2.

S&F factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid door/ window/ ceosetory windows and other frames/ chowkhat of following size comprising of virgin PVC polymer having K-value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/ wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) fabricated with miter joints after applying PVC solvent cement and screwed with full body threaded star headed SS screws having minimum frame density of 750 kg/ cum, screw withdrawal strength of 2200 N (Face) and 1100 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength of 58 N/mm2, modules of elasticity 900 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of class A category with property of being termite/borer proof, water/ moisture proof and fire retardant and fixed in position with MS hold fast/ lugs/SS dash fasteners of required dia and length complete all as specified and directed.

Note: (i) For WPC solid door/window frames, minus 5mm tolerance in dimension i.e. depth and width of profile shall be acceptable and variation in profile dimensions on plus side shall be acceptable but no extra payment on this account shall be made. (ii) M.S. hold fast/ lugs or SS dash fasteners shall be measured and paid for separately.

Taking down cement plaster in any thickness from brick or stone walls etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc removal of rubbish, vegetation etc outside complex (MOD land) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering on brick/ concrete surfaces in two coats, first coat of 10mm in CM (1:6) and 2nd coat of 5mm in CM (1:4) mixed with integral water proofing compound (WPC) liquid type, as per manufacturer instructions, finished to even and smooth with out using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Integral water proofing liquid will be measured and paid seperately.

Supply only integral water proofing compound (WPC) liquid type of approved make complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete walls internal surfaces in CM (1:6) finished to even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering on ceiling over concrete surfaces in CM (1:3) finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of existing roof treatment i.e APP membrane including cement mortar screed, brick tiling including mud mortar or lime concrete and open up RCC roof slab including picking, sweeping cleaning with wire brush and washing down with water to remove dust, dirt to get surface free of laitance , scales, oil or any other loose material and removing unserviceable material, outside of A 1 defence land complete all as specified and directed. Note for all item of roof treatment :- (a) The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof for single storey . The contractor shall make arrangement of scoffolding, safety & security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof. (b) The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items. (c) The work will be measured only after stage passing by AGE(I).

M&L for one coat of cement slurry admixed with acrylic bonding compound SBR Latex liquid polymer (slurry will be prepared as per manufacturer direction) as to be used for bonding of new concrete/ mortar to old surface complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The cost of acrylic bonding compound SBR Latex liquid polymer deemed included in quoted rate and extra payment will be made to contractor.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone agg) mixed with Liquid intergal water proofing compoud as per manufacturer direction and finishing the surface even and smooth with out using extra cement as in roof padding/ leveling course of slope over roof to receive roof treatment complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Liquid intergal water proofing compoud shall be measured and paid separately as supply only.

M&L for water proofing treatment to non-accessible roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane as per manufacturer’s instructions with following course of description below :- (a) Applying a priming coat of bituminious primer @ 0.30 Kg /Sqm, till the surface is properly impregnated. (b) Providing APP based 5 layer polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3.6Kg/ Sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric (weight not less than 150 gms/sqm) centre core, laid on primed surface by forced applications as per the manufacturer's instructions with side over lap of 75 mm and end overlap of 100 mm. All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer (torching overlap by propane or butane gas torch ) and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as a monolithic layer (c) Apply two coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm over APP membrance

Note : (i) The work of water proofing treatment shall be got executed through authorised applicator of the manufacturer only and 10 year company back warranty to be submitted by contractor. (ii) The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof slab for single storeyed. The contractor shall make arrangement of scaffolding, safety and security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof . The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-0, using 12.5mm graded stone aggregates, as in concrete angle-fillets with a radiaus of 75 to 100mm shall be provided at junctions between roofs, floor and vertical faces of walls (parapet, pillar for water tank staging and sunken floor) around obstacles such as pipes, chimney stacks etc. and other similar situation to ease up about corners mixed with integral water proofing compound as per manufactur direction ) Note :- Integral water proofing compound (WPC) will be measured and paid seperately.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of exterior wall by complete removal of existing treatment with mechanical sander (rpm 1500-2700) along with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by reputed paint manufacturers, then washing the surface with Bleaching powder solution for treatment of fungal growth and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint of required shade (wallmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint/ distemper by using roller/ spray machine complete all as specifie and of approved tint and make complete all as specied and directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note: (i) The old surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of distemper. The cost of materials, labour and T&P required for preparation of surface are demand to be included in the rates quoted. (ii) The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE/ AGE (I) before commencement of work. (iii) All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by deportment for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture. (iv) after carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE /AGE (I) before application of distemper for each building. (v) The colour / shade will be all as approved by GE / AGE (I). (vi) The cost of Scaffolding wherever required are deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of external wall all as prescribed by manufacture of paint and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint (walmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint/ distemper by using roller/ spray machine complete all as specifie and of approved tint and make complete all as specied and directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing old decorated plastered or unplastered surfaces of wall by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spot and applying two coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins,arches, pillars,etc. but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with old size full brick subclass ‘B’ burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling bricks (laid flat or on edge) or brick tiles in floors, channels, kerbs, aprons, etc. (each layer) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for hardcore of broken boulders/stone of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spreading, leveling watering and well ramming to true surface in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick each layer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC (1:3:6), type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in plinth protection, surface finished even & smooth without using extra cement, with and including joint filling (Size 30mm deep x 10mm wide) with sealing compound grade-A at 3m interwal and corner complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in surface channel and drain including saucer drain and toe wall etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 100mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregates as in sub base of path/ hardstanding complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) of any position not otherwise specifically provided for and including reinforcement required to facilities demolition up to and including on the roof top/ RCC Chajja/ RCC facia and including removing unserviceable material, outside defence land complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down old unserviceable point wiring of any type (light, fan, socket, power etc) complete with fitting such as switches, sockets, ceiling roses, pendants, lamp holders, light fitting etc including CI/ pressed steel terminals, switch box and making good the disturbed surface of wall/ floor etc to match with the existing surfaces of wall/ floor complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) If the contractor fail to make good the disturbed surface of wall/ floor etc and do not match with the existing surface of wall/ floor to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge, a recovery of @ Rs. 50/- per RM will be made from payment due to the Contractor. In case of any dispute, the decision of Accepting Officer will be final and binding. (ii) Old fittings/ fixtures / accessories like switches, sockets, lamp holders, regulators etc., if found in serviceable condition shall be removed carefully for reuse in the work or taking on charge. (iii) Only old unserviceable items will be considered in credit Sch.

M&L for point wiring with 1100 volts grade single core conforming to (IS:694 /1990) PVC insulated unsheathed 1.5 Sqmm multi stranded copper conductor cable (FRLSH) with continious earth wire of 1.5 Sqmm stranded copper conductor cable (FRLSH) PVC insulated unsheathed, drawn in and including concealed PVC conduit "medium grade" (ISI marked), not less than 20mm dia duly concealed on wall/ ceiling or above false ceiling with fittings medium grade (Color coding of wires shall be phase, neutral and earth wire all as specified) sunk metal flush box with and including decorative polycarbonate frame for housing modular switches, sockets, fan regulators etc including white cover plate complete all as specified and directed for following:- Note:- (i) Cost of cutting chases of suitable girth where required on brick /concrete surface and making good disturbed surface in CM (1:3) and matching with the existing surface deemed included in quoted rates. (ii) If the contractor fail to make good the disturbed surface of wall/ ceiling etc and do not match with the existing surface of wall/ceiling to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge a recovery of @ Rs. 50/- per RM will be made from payment due to the contractor. In case of any dispute the decision of Accepting Officer will be final and binding.
