Dismantling and opening of spare parts for servicing of water cooled DG set of following capacity coupled with alternator, Maintenance and servicing mechanically and electrically, including cleaning, oiling /greasing, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts,i.e diesel filter /oil filter /Air filter /fan belt /fuel pipe/ engine oil pipe /Engine Oil/distilled water etc as required at site and as per manufacturer's instructions and checking of valves & nozzles etc, reassembling the parts of DG set at position ensuring proper alignment connecting to existing system and making DG set perfectly operational and testing at site connected load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed. (including mentioned in Note here in below).

Notes:-(i) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch `A’ as `supply only ‘ but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, locking nuts, small springs, `O’ rings, screws/gaskets/ packing /studs etc. (ii) Engine oil shall be drained out carefully, collected by the contractor in his own suitable containers and stored properly for checking serviceability including cleaning of oil sump by pouring kerosene oil all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (iii) Fresh engine oil for DG sets shall be supplied by the contractor as “ Supply only” and shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ . Its cost of filling is deemed to be included under the rates quoted by the contractor for above item.

Notes : (i) The complete panel shall be checked and tested on full load after necessary repairs and replacement of unserviceable wiring. for its smooth functioning and proper interlocking including shut down on high water tempreture and low Oil pressure. (ii) All control wires shall be properly bunched, tied, ferruled for proper identification and crimped with adequate size of copper lugs. the cost of same are deemed to include under these items. M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm×60cm×6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 25×4mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including Providing and fixing earthing pit cover of reinforced precast RCC (1:2:4 mix) / heavy-duty FRP (as specified), of standard size 300 mm × 300 mm × 50 mm (or as approved), suitable for covering earth pits for DG set/ AC Plant and Transformer earthing etc. The cover shall have lifting handles made of 10 mm dia MS rod, hot-dip galvanized, and the top surface shall be chequered / anti-skid finished. The name plate shall have engraved/etched letters filled with black enamel for long-term visibility. The plate shall display the following details as per departmental directions and standard schedule of rates: (a) Earth Pit Number (b) Type of Earthing (DG Earthing / Transformer Earthing) (c) Earth Resistance Value (Ohms) (d) Date of Testing (e) Next Due Date of Testing (f) Location/Installation Name The work includes engraving, painting, fixing, grouting, labour, materials, and all accessories required for proper installation, complete as per standard specifications and the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.”

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep in soft/loose soil including forming sides and bottom surface to required levels/slops/gradients etc. complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Cleaning & Servicing must be carried out by certified skilled technicians from the RECD OEM or authorized service teams. Ensure exhaust backpressure remains within the engine OEM's permissible limits. Check for exhaust gas, fuel, or lube oil leaks at all connections. Verify that anti-vibration mountings are secure and thermal insulation (cladding) is intact. Inspect the PLC/HMI panel for alarms and ensure pressure/temperature sensors are calibrated. The smoke emission test to be conducted taking smoke sample from RECD device. The test reports have to be provided in original duty authorised from NABL accredited lab showing all smoke emission parameters such as NOx, HC, CO, PM-2.5 or any other as per guidelines laid down by CPCB. All instructions and directions regarding the smoke emission test has to be first discussed with Engr-in-Charge before proceeding for the above mentioned test.

(ii) Necessary T&P i.e. ladder, tools etc required for checking and making the light fittings in serviceable conditions, its fixing in position and testing shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost for checking and fixing of street light fittings/security light fittings of any description on poles / on walls / on pillars etc i.e. in any position at site. (iii) Required screws, insulating tapes, internal wiring wire and other minor items excluding the required spares parts for repairing and making the street light fittings/security light fittings in serviceable condition, will be arranged & supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor in above respective item. (iv) Contractor shall be paid only one time the labour charges quoted above in Schedule `A' items for a particular fitting repaired irrespective of the number of times labour and resources arranged by him to check the serviceability of the fittings and replacement of unserviceable / defective parts in order to maintain the fittings in serviceable/working condition. (v) Contractor’s quoted rates for Schedule `A' item is deemed to include for inspection/checking the serviceability of the fittings in position or by taking down as per site requirement, removing the damaged unserviceable / broken parts, fixing the new parts as required, fixing the fittings in same position or the other, connecting the fittings with electric source and testing of fittings as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of UNSV LED bollard light 10 W, IP 65 rated ,efficient light distribution complete with accessories to be fixed in Ground including connecting the fitting to control switch at the bottom of the Junction box with using 2.5 Sqmm two single core PVC insulated and unsheathed copper conductor cable complete,all as specified and directed (Note :PCC work shall be measured and paid seperatly under Sch "A' relevent item and rate of cable deemed to be included )

Supply and fixing in replacement of UNSV 20W LED Post top lantern complete accessories to be fixed on pole/wall including connecting the fitting to control switch at the bottom of the pole with using 2.5 Sqmm two single core PVC insulated and unsheathed copper conductor cable complete,all as directed and directed. (Note :PCC work shall be measured and paid seperatly under Sch "A' relevent item and rate of cable deemed to be included )

Supply and fixing in replacement of UNSV 40W LED Post top lantern complete accessories to be fixed on pole/wall including connecting the fitting to control switch at the bottom of the pole with using 2.5 Sqmm two single core PVC insulated and unsheathed copper conductor cable complete,all as directed and directed. (Note :PCC work shall be measured and paid seperatly under Sch "A' relevent item and rate of cable deemed to be included )

Taking down old unserviceable junction boxes from the pole with disconnectiong all connections, Supplying and fixing in position Junction box made of SMC/FRP sheet ready made of size 300 mm x 200 x 105 mm having 100 A Capacity RYB and neutral aluminium bus bar of 3 mm thick duly fitted on suitable insulator . The gasket should be internally embedded, and made of Polyeutherene. Box shall be suitable for up to 35 Sqmm cables including one no. MCB SP 230 volts 6 amps and connecting the bus bars to cables with using suitable GI nut, bolts and washers and aluminum lugs etc fixed on pole using 30x5mm FI clamps, nuts, bolts & washers complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate (for stay) in mass concrete and filling complete for foundation/hard standing coping , complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cleaning and preparation of all existing steel surfaces of straight Electric/ steel tubular poles 9/13 mtrs long for painting including mild steel cross arms, clamps and street light brackets,protection pipe, MS boxes etc and applying Two coat of aluminium paint all round the exposed steel surfaces of existing steel tubular poles of any description and in any position above the height of 1.50 mtr from the plinth of the pole and applying one coat of synthetic enameled paint of different colours in strips of 150mm width upto the height 1.5 mtr from the plinth of pole complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for re-writing letters or figures (Black, roman, Indian) for electric/ street light pole Nos on existing poles with stencil out with black colour including fixing red colour radium of 80 mm hight arround the radius of pole complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and removing the water and electric connections carefully from the existing submersible pump sets of any capacity, any size,any make and taking out the submersible pump set of alongwith column pipe 100 mm dia,electric cable and fittings of bore well or strip opening the pump set (approximately 450 feets depth of pump set from GL) and taking out the pump set alongwith pipes and fittings for flushing the bore well or strip opening the pump set for repairs, replacement of worn out spares, fixing of serviceable spares assembling the pump set completely, testing of pump set, lowering the pump set inside the bore well after repairs, including connecting back the water and electric connections, Commissioning of pump set for satisfactory operation on its full load complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

NOTES :- 1. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 2. Number of column pipe may vary from 30 to 50, The existing pipes & flanged joints shall be checked for its serviceability & unserviceable joints alongwith flanges shall be removed from the column pipe by cutting the pipes & making new thread in pipes for fixing of new flange joint, the cost of same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate for above item. However cleaning of pipes if any required shall be measured & paid separately. 3. Expendable stores like cotton waste/cleaning materials lubricants , gland packing metal filling, machining and transportation to and from site to work shop are deemed to be included in rate quoted. 4.The spares required for repair the pump sets,motor,MS pipe,rubber gasket joints and rewinding of motors shall be measured and paid for separately as supply only under appropriate items of Schedule ‘A’. 5. Labour elements is included in unit rates.

Opening the pump and motor for inspection, repairs and reassembling the pump and motor as per the original assembly after repairs/ replacing the wourn out unserviceable parts with new parts as ordered (the parts including cleaning replacing the minor items like, packing bolts, nuts and washers and MS clamps etc) making the pump and motor fully serviceable including machining etc and testing the both after refixing duly testing and commissioning all as specified and directed by the E-in-Charge for 35 to 52 HP capacity, 3 phase, 415 volts, 50 HZ, AC supply, pumps & motors of make KSB / SU / CALAMA. complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / nonfunctional parts shall be measured & paid for separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under these items. (ii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding. (iii) The rates for above items are deemed to include transportation to & from of pumps/ motors to workshop as approved by Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs, alignment and testing of pump and motors at workshop. (iv) The rate quoted for the item shall include re-metaling of Pump shaft, polishing and grinding and making standard size to match with Gun Metal Bush/Neck-ring. (v) Lifting of pump and motor from bore well and lowering of pump and motor after repairs shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A' (vi) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include replacement of small/ minor parts i.e. washers, keys for coupling, cable packing ring etc.

M&L for cleaning and disinfecting of RCC OH tank of 1,00,000 gallon capacity upto 21 Mtr staging, of any shape by initially cleaning the external area and the entry man hole with skilled manpower with protective clothing and apparatus etc and approved electrically operated equipments including all tools, tacles and labour equipments e.g. electric machines, pumps (including desludging pump), pressure water jet, sludge removal etc. required for completion of the work in all respect by specialized water tank cleaning process as under:-

(i) Dewatering of over head tank by drain out pipe. (ii) Mechanized removal of all remaining dirty water by high capacity pump set. (iii) Removal of sludge by vacuum operated Pump. (iv) Cleaning of walls, ceiling and bottom of tank by high pressure rotary jet 120 bars pressure. (v) Removal of all dirty particles by industrial wet vacuum cleaner leaving the tank 99.9% physically cleaned. (vi) Sterilization of tank by Echo-Friendly biodegradable and highly effective anti bacterial non toxic agent approved by NTC (National Toxicology Center) against all pathogens agent of tank clean. (vii) Sterilization of tank atmosphere by industrial UV radiator leaving the tank complete sterlite by specialized method (viii) After complete treatment is carried out, all inlet, over flow, delivery, wash out pipes, ladder and doors shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel black paint after thorough cleaning the surfaces and also the surfaces of sluice valves shall be painted with P.O. Red paint and writing " capacity of tank, date of cleaning and due date of cleaning" on wall as specified and as directed.

Notes: (i)The work will be got executed from the reputed specialized water tank cleaner as approved by GE. (ii) All the sludge materials / fungus removed from the underground sump / semi underground sump and over head tanks will be removed outside defence land from the site. (iii) All underground sump / semi underground sump and overhead tanks will cleaned in all respect upto 3 mtr around the water tanks. (iv) All T & P required for the cleaning of tanks / Sumps will be arranged by the contractor. (v) The wire mesh of ventilations of the tank shall be replaced with new mesh. (vi) The cost of the same shall be deemed included in the respective items.

M&L for Cutting of the existing 80/100/150 mm bore of GI/ CI pipe line for rectifying leakage and reducing to required length, in position, for insertion of collars or Tee, 'D' joint, Mechanical joints & other fittings including dewatering etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- GI/CI fittings, jointing materials and earth work shall be measured and paid separately. How ever cost of dewatering is included in the quoted rates.
