Servicing of Diesel Engine Generating sets 30 to 125 KVA rating to be carried out as per schedule given as under). :- B-Check (Every 1500 Hrs or 01 Year which ever is earlier) :- (i) Change lubricating oil (ii) Change lubricating oil filters (iii) Change fuel filters (iv) Change coolent (v) Check engine wiring for damage (vi) Drain fuel supply tank (vii) Change by pass lubricant filters (viii) Change air filters (ix) Check oil pressure (x) Change fuel water separator C- Check (Every 1500 Hrs or 01 Year which ever is earlier) :-(i) Adjust valves (ii) Steam clean engine (iii) Replace hoses as reqd (iv) Check turbo charger mounting nuts (v) Check engine oil heater (vi) Clean radiator (vii) Inspect following parts & replace as required (Alternator, starter etc) (viii) Clean fuel tank from inside (ix) Change Engine oil Note : (i) Maintenance of Diesel Engine Generating Set as per maintenance schedule chart . (ii) Schedule of service, Diesel Gen set M/C No wise is attached in PS. (III) Servicing of DG set will be done by Authorised dealer of Kirloskar/Cummins only. (iv) B-Check and C-Check spare parts will be measured and paid separately under supply only and fixing charges included with the servicing of DG set items i.e Item No 1 (1.1 to 1.03).

Supply only of high temprature diesel Hose pipe of 1000 PSI of size 12.5mm dia for connecting from diesel tank outlet to Engine complete with banjo bolt & washer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only of high temprature diesel Hose pipe of 1250 PSI of size 10.3mm dia for connecting from engine to diesel tank complete with banjo bolt & washer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only of distilled water for battery complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling /taking down complete radiator assy from DG set of 632150 KVA capacity and transport to workshop for cleaning of the same with suitable cleaning reagent to remove rust & scaling , plugging of any water leakage by brazing and refixing including replacement of rubber hose pipe complete with jupiter clamps for any capacity of DG Sets, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismounting the diesel generator set Radiator upto the Capacity 400 KVA, Removing the out side unserviceable core completely and replacing the old core with new copper core including servising, cleaning of front side radiator core, brazing, assembling & pressure test complete at workshop and commissioning at the side of TBRL Range Ramgarh complete all as specified and directed. (i) The above quoted rate incuding the transportation charges from TBRL Range Ramgarh to work shop and back. Overhauing and radiator core replacement to be carried out the authorized agency as per the manufacturers. (ii) The contractor is liable to rectify any defect over after the repair carried out for period of two year.

Material and labour for dismantling of Exhaust pipe of silencer, cleaning of silencer to remove carbon deposit inside exhaust pipe and refixing including replacement of worn out rubber gasket packing and nut,bolts including replacement of asbestos rope 20mm complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of defective dynamo from engine, Supply and fixing new dynamo 24 Volt DC Make- TVS Lucas,inclding replacement of worn out nuts bolts mounting clamp etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of self starter 24V DC by disconneting battery connection , taking out to civil workshop for carrying out following reapair work and refixing including testing complete:- (i) Rewinding of armature & Field coil.(ii) Replacement of Carbon brush and solenoid switch (iii) Replacement of gear assembly .

Dismantling of self starter 12V DC by disconneting battery connection , taking out to civil workshop for carrying out following reapair work and refixing including testing complete:- (i) Rewinding of armature & Field coil.(ii) Replacement of Carbon brush and solenoid switch (iii) Replacement of gear assembly .

Supply and replacement of Digital meter square type 96x96mm suitable for measuring 3-ph combined voltage, ammpere & frequency simultaneously in three independent windows with ultra LED display complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing for 440Volt DC 24 V relay suitable for 320KVA/250 KVA DG Set complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement self starter 12 Volts DC suitable for DG Set 63/82.5/110 KVA

Material and labour for spray painting to Panels, Enclosure of DG sets, fire stand post duct plates etc at DG installations with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour after making the suface free from oil/grease/rust and applying a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing for Battery 12V, 180 AH with 25 Nos Electro plates including battery lead positive & negative battery terminal complete duly charged .

Material and labour for Door joint and handle locks arrangement for any size/capacity DG set complete all as specified and directed.

Opening the coupling of DG set of capacity 320KVA / 380 KVA the outer cover and taking out the fly wheel ring and shifting to workshop for repair in and including replacement of fly wheel ring by prressing machine and reinstalled the same after repair to make it fully functional complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out FIP from DG set, of cap 250 /320 transportation to authorised service centre for repair /maintenance and refixing to DG set including replacement of necessary spare parts such as Plunzers, governer kit with pin , Nozzels , Head ball guide kit, Head sheet , Rock rod, Rollar bearing , oil seal, piston & rings pin, jain kit and sleeves complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cleaning of diesel tank of DG set of any capacity including replacement of worn out pipe line and measuring scale and fixing in original position and make it leak proof with necessary clamps complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing with steel earth plate electrode of size 60x60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr deep below normal ground level connected to GI strip of size 32x6mm as earthing lead by means of nuts, bolts and washers of galvanized iron or steel after welding of GI strip to earth electrode to the full lenght of earth plate, 40mm dia GI tubing light grade protection pipe upto test point, 20mm dia GI watering pipe med grade with funnel and wire mesh, PCC pit 1:3:6 with pit cover of size 30X30cm made of RCC 1:3:6 with suitable handle,angle iron frame made of angle iron of size 40x40x4mm, adequate qty of charcoal dust and salt layers all around the earth plate, removal of surplus soil and returning filling in all as required at site including test point made out of steel plate of size 75x75x6mm fixed to wall all as specified in plate No 3 of SSR Part-I and complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out unserviceable asbestos rope from the exhaust pipe cleaning the exhaust pipe supply and wraping new asbestos rope of suitable size and wrapping with wire mesh and plasterig withplaster of paris /white cement for smooth finishing including replacement of gasket and tightening of all nut and bolts complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying of UG cable XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty elect cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade cross section area 95 Sqmm 3.5 core laid in trenches/ fixing on panels/walls/poles or passing through pipe including connecting with suitable lugs, glands, nuts and bolts and testing complete all as specified and directed.
