REPAIR / MAINT AND IMPROVEMENT OF LT DISTRIBUTION NETWORK LT PANEL, FP BOX AND OTHER ALLIED WORKS IN BAHADUR SINGH ENCLAVE AND SUGAN ENCLAVE MD ACCN AREA IN ARMY AREA JODHPUR

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for laying of cables, erection of poles, struts/stays, leveling of yard etc not exceeding 10 M² on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil. Complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for sand cushioning to underground cable screened un-washed river sand including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class LV, Type I, flat, size 250 mm x 150mm x 40mm complete laid over the cable perpendicular to the cable for protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm in soil.

Removing of excavated soil not exc. 50 M from starting points complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Laying only in trenches in replacement of unserviceable cable/ LT OH line, LT under ground cable XLPE insulated PVC sheathed 1100 V grade armoured heavy duty aluminium conductor including removing of old cable, testing and commissioning of new cable of following cross sectional area : - Note : (i) LT XLPE cable will be issued by department under Sch 'B' to the contractor free for fixing . (ii) Aluminium lugs required for cable ends are deemed to be included in rate quoted. (iii) Earth work, cable protection, sand shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ. (a) 6 Sqmm to 70 Sqmm, 2 /3.5 /4 Core.

(b) 95 Sqmm to 185 Sqmm, 3.5 Core.

(c) 240 Sqmm to 400 Sqmm, 3.5 Core.

Re-routing/relaying of existing LT cable PVC/XLPE insulated aluminum conductor armoured with glavanised steel wire complete of any size and core from any position i.e ground /wall/poles/ culverts etc complete with protection pipe all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) Old cable as obtained shall be re-used. (ii) Old serviceable protection cover and protection pipe obtained under this item shall be reused if found serviceable. (iii) Earth work and any other new items shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ and cost of laying shall be deemed included in rate quoted.

Supply and fix GI tubing medium grade in repairs incl. accessories for protection of cables on poles / under road crossing of following sizes : - (a) 80 mm dia

(b) 50 mm dia

(b) 40 mm dia

Motorized Augering/ manual boring under road at 60 cm depth of dia suitable for laying of 40/50/80mm dia GI tubing pipe complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for LT straight through jointing kit suitable for XLPE/ PVC Cable 1100 volts grade, heat shrinkable type complete including preparing of cable all as directed by Engr-in-Charge for the following :- (a) 35 to 70 sqmm 3.5 /4 core

(b) 95 to 150 sqmm 3.5 core

M & L for disconnecting and re connecting of burnt LT XLPE cable to OH conductor on pole/ equipment including removing of faulty part of cable, preparation of cable for connection, suitable AL lugs, nut bolts etc and as directed on site by Engr-in-Charge. Note: The cost of earth work for taking out LT cable loop and refilling will deemed to be included in above quoted rate.

Supply and Fix as in replacement for steel structure, cross arms, bracing supports, clamps, back plates of any type, section incl. nuts, bolts, washers, welding, fabrication/bending cold or hot in any size and shape required at site complete applying of two coats of aluminum paints over a coat of red oxide primer incl dismantling complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for painting to steel tubular pole/rail pole upto 9 mtr long and painting with two coats of aluminium paint including painting of pole coping with white and black synthetic enamel paint (zebra painting) upto 1.5 mtr from pole coping complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour Cement concrete (1:3:6) type C -1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for pedestal of poles/copping including necessary form work ,fair finishing to exposed surfaces using extra cement complete form, all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red color and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT, 20x15cm size complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrodes 600mmx600mmx6 mm thick buried directly in ground earth (earth pit not less 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less then 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanised iron earthing strip 32mm x6mm thick by means of bolt nuts check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as specified & shown in electrical plate No.3 of MES SSR part-I 2009 connected to earth test point as specified and testing on completion including provision of 40 mm dia light grade pipe up to 7.5 mtr length as protection & watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore medium grade including all excavation & earth work in any type of strata incl PCC pit (1:3:6) type C-1 with RCC cover including charcoal , salt, funnel complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site. Note : Rate included for dismantling of old earth pit and removal from site.

Material and labour for GI strip laid in trenches / fixed on wall of size 32 mm x 6 mm laid for inter connecting /extension in earthing including excavation and earth work complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site.

Material and labour for spray painting to outdoor type double door LT panels/Feeder pillar box including angle iron stand by applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer after cleaning and preparation of the surface thoroughly with scrapper of MS sheet including cleaning of cables, wiring and other non painted parts all as directed at site by the Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for repair to outdoor type double door LT panels/feeder pillar box by repairing/replacing hinges, sliding bolts, cable entry MS sheets, cable glands, pedestal locks, replacing unserviceable bow handle and connected accessories of front, rear and inner doors by welding, cutting, drilling etc and incl fixing with MS nuts and bolts including two coats of spray painting by synthetic enameled paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge at site. Note:- Panel should be vermin proof and close properly after repair.

Material and labour for replacement of bus bar strips any type of LT panels/ Feeder pillar boxes with copper strips insulated with insulating sleeves of RYB colour of suitable size complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site.

Material and labour for replacement of old unserviceable voltmeter/ Ammeter with Panel mounted multi function three phase digital energy meter of accuracy Cl-1.0 for measuring Voltage, Current, KW, KVAR, KWH, KVAH and power factor and making the disturbed surface good by welding/riveting in MS sheet 1.6 mm thick on the hollow portion duly painted including taking out unserviceable meters complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge at site.

Material and labour for replacement of old unserviceable indicators any type with LED based indicating lamps of RYB colour incl disconnecting and connecting of the same all as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site.

Material and labour for replacement of old unserviceable CT of LT Panel /Feeder pillar box with CT of 100/5 ratio or as per site requirement incl connecting, disconnecting and testing complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site.

S&F as in replacement of unserviceable MCCB/MCB suitable for 415 Volts 3 Phase 4 wire system fixed thermal and magnetic setting including spreader terminals, nuts, bolts, washers required at site complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge of following rating:- (a) MCCB 400 Amps 4 pole 50 KA TM type (Icu=Ics=100%)

(b) MCCB 250 Amps 4 pole 36 KA TM type (Icu=Ics=100%)

(c) MCCB 160 Amps 4 pole 25 KA TM type (Icu=Ics=100%)

(d) MCCB 100 Amps 4 pole 16 KA TM type (Icu=Ics=100%)

(e) MCB TPN , 63 Amp, 4 pole, 415 Volt

(f) MCB SPN , 40-63 Amp , 240 Volt

(g) MCB SP 6-32 Amp, 240 Volt

Fixing only MCCB of any sizes, 415 Volts, 3 Phase, including spreader terminals, nuts, bolts, washers required at site complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- MCCB only shall be issued under Schedule 'B' free for fixing.

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning as in replacement of LT Panel board, outdoor type, floor mounted, factory made CPRI approved as listed in Appx 'B' List of Makes suitable for 415 volt, 3 PH, 4 wire, 50 Hz, AC supply system having bus bar chamber with copper bus bars duly insulated by insulation of RYB colure 400 Amps rating mounted on porcelain insulators. The panel shall be factory made double door made out of 3.15 mm thick MS sheet totally enclosed dust, vermin and rust proof front operated, front and rear opening with locking arrangement fixed with MS angle iron frame of size 40mm x40mm x6mm duly embedded in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 plateform and duly painted with two coats of synthatic enamal paint over a coat of red oxide primer with colure as directed including wiring of multistranded copper cable of suitable size including lugs and cable gland to incoming and outgoing cables and re-routing of LT cables of change over within 10 mtr of distance etc complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site and comprising of following:- INCOMING:- (a) MCCB 4 Pole 415 volts 36 KA 250 Amps rating microprocessor release type (Icu=Ics=100%) - 01 No (b) Panel mounted multifunction energy meter of accuracy Cl-1.0 rating - 01 No (c) RYB LED indication lamp panel mounting type (Set of three) - 01 No OUTGOING:- (a) MCCB 4 Pole 415 volts 25 KA 160 Amps rating TM release type (Icu=Ics=100%) - 03 Nos (b) MCCB 4 Pole 415 volts 25 KA 100 Amps rating TM release type (Icu=Ics=100%) - 02 Nos (c) MCB 4 Pole 415 volts 10 KA 63 Amps rating - 01 No

Cleaning, servicing, calibration and testing complete LT, Air circuit breaker, 415V, 3 phase, 50 Hz after shut down the electric supply, cleaning and de-carbonisation of all terminals, lubricating the all moving mechanical parts and calibrate according the load after re-fixing at the same position complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for writing pole number of minimum 10 cm height with black paint over base of yellow paint on PCC/steel poles of LT supply complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
