M&L for repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) but making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of binder with 0.06 cu m of sand), again well rammed (including supply of premix binder and sand) depth of potholes n exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing of black top bituminous surfaces by brushing with brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air pressure through air jet using air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc including removing mud etc. to a distance minimum 1.50m from edge of road and applying evenly a tack coat of bituminous primer using paving bitumen (VG-10) at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated hot pressure mechanisum, supplying, laying, spreading 30mm consolidated thickness of semi dense asphaltic bituminous concrete carpet (VG-30) with 0.406 cum crushed and graded coarse aggregates with design mix formula with bitumen not less than 5.5% binder content using paver with mechanical paver all as specified in clause device for automatic leveling and profile control within the specified tolerance as mentioned in SSR Part-I , rolled with 8 to 10 tone powar Roller to uniform smooth surface and consolidated to required camber and gradient with power roller for uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.
