Lump sum price worked out by the contractor for "EXCAVATION AND EARTHWORK" as listed in Schedule ‘A’ Part-I representing percentage ( + or - denomination) derived under last column of this schedule above/below the lump sum price prepriced by the MES B/F from SI page No. 18

Lump sum price worked out by the contractor for "AREA DRAINAGE" as listed in Schedule ‘A’ Part-II representing percentage ( + or - denomination) derived under last column of this schedule above/below the lump sum price of prepriced by the MES B/F from SI page No. 19

PROVISIONAL LUMP SUM This sum shall be expended wholly or in part as directed by the GE and the work shall be carried out to the extent ordered in writing by the GE. The work under provisional lump sum shall be measured and paid for at the applicable (or prorata) rate in MES schedule adjusted by the percentage quoted by the contractor here-in-below:-

(A) Provide:- Provisional lump sum for Hydrant post for water lorry filling with civil & plumbing work (02 Nos)

(B) Provide:- Provisional lump sum for ISMB 200 (Appox 4mtr long) 02 ton capacity chain block pully arrangement including fixing arrangement of ISMB with RCC columns (01 No)

Sch 'A' PART-III (MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS) Notes: (i) This schedule is not pre-priced by MES and the pre-priced rate indicated as "Rs 0.00" under column 5 signifies this fact only.

(a) Round the clock manning and operation of sewage treatment plant including all components and items in the premises of STP viz DG sets, Panels, Valves and other measuring and control devices etc including additives, consumables as required for running of plant but excluding diesel and electricity complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. from the date of commissioning of the plant to one year after physical completion of work (i.e expiry of defect liability period)

(b) Description all as per item No 4.01 above but including maintenance together with repair and replacement of pumps, pipes etc for the period commencing from one year after DLP till next one year.

(c) Description all as per item No 4.01 (b) above but for the period commencing from two year after DLP till next one year.

NOTE FOR ITEM NO 4.01,4.02 & 4.03 ABOVE :- (a) Following minimum staff shall be provided by the contractor at the site:- (i) 1 operator in each shift of 08 hours (3 shift per day) (Total 3 operator per day). The operator shall be ITI qualified in relevant trade with 2-3 yrs experience. (ii) 1 helper cum sweeper in each shift of 8 hours (Total 2 helper per day). (b) Fortnightly testing of treated sewage shall be carried out by the contractor for the parameters as given below ie NABL acrediated laboratory from authorized lab which shall be submitted along with each RAR. NOTES:-The inlet sewage/ raw sewage characteristics is likely to be as mentioned below and may very time to time with acceptable tolerance limits:- (i) BOD - 200 to 275 mg/ltr (ii) COD - 550 to 600 mg/ltr (iii) TSS - 350 to 450 mg/ltr (iv) PH - 06 - 09 (v) Oil & Grease - 20 mg/ltr (vi) Coliform - 10^6 - 10^7 MPN/100ml (c) All consumables media and additives including hypo solution shall be provided by the contractor except power, diesel and water which same shall be provided by the department free of cost. (d) Plant surroundings shall be kept neat & clean by the contractor. (e) Contractor shall operate & maintain the plant as per the instruction in the operation manual & shall carry out routine. Annual & Breakdown maintenance of the equipment in the system including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly preventive maintenance. (f) Contractor shall maintain the record of attendance for his workmen and his staff. (g) Contractor shall dispose off all sludge to the area specified by engineer-in-charge within range of 2 km of STP site. (h) Contractor shall maintain all electrical installations provided under this contract as per IE rules/Standard Engineering Practice. (j) The cost of all consumables (except electricity and diesel) like chlorine gas, media and additives, cost of monthly chemical consumption for STP laboratory etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.
