Name of Work: (A) & (B) Hiring, of HEMM (Excavators, Tippers, Dozers, Motor-Graders, Water Sprinklers, and other allied equipment’s) for excavating Top Soil (not requiring drilling) above D (Bottom Seam ) E&F, loading into Tippers, Transportation and unloading the excavated material and silt dumping, dozing, scraping/removal of all bands, preparation/maintenance of haul road, water sprinkling and spreading of material at the site shown in the plan and as per directives of the Management/Engineer in-charge of Dipka Expansion Opencast Project, Dipka Area for total quantity of OB: 17,55,16,229.00 CuM (175.52 MCuM) [2,30,44,419.00 Soft Soil (not requiring drilling) & Hard strata 15,24,71,810.00 CuM (including drilling in all kinds of strata/over burden) for a period of 1826 Days (5 Years)] @ Minimum quantity to be Handled: - 96121 CuM /per day. (C) Hiring of Surface Miner & allied equipment’s of suitable capacity at Dipka Expansion Project, Dipka Area for mechanical excavation/cutting of coal and coal measure strata &deployment of dozer on hiring basis for removal of ridges, left out coal seam in slices, involving extraction/breaking of coal/cross measure/strata in slices/layers to lumps size(-)100mm without resorting to drilling and blasting along with minimum 65187.00 Cum/day for a total quantity of 11,90,31,462.00 CuM (194.02 MT) for a period of 1826 days (5 Years). (For computation of the output in-situ measurement of coal/coal measure strata will be done).The management depending upon the working condition at the mine may alter the site, thickness, width and length of the slice/layers etc. as per the flexibility clause of the NIT.
