Supplying of Alumino Ferric alum Grade - 4 in solid form for treatment of water intended for drinking conforming to IS: 299: 2012 (Fifth Revision) having following requirements: 1) Insoluble matter, percent by mass, Max-0.2 2) Soluble iron compound (as Fe), percent by mass, Max-0.04 3) Water soluble aluminium compound (as AL2O3), percent by mass, Min-16 4) pH (5% of aqueous solution), Min-2.7 5) Free acidity (as H2SO4), Basicity (as AL2O3), percent by mass, Max-0.5 6) Lead (as Pb), PPM, Max-20 7) Arsenic (as AS2O3), PPM, Max-4 8) Mercury (as Hg), PPM, Max-0.4 9) Manganese (as Mn), PPM, max-20 10) Chromium (as Cr), PPM, Max-20 11) Cadmium (as Cd), PPM, Max-4 12) Selenium (as Se), PPM, Max-4 13) Organic impurities: a) Phenolic compounds (as C6H5OH), PPM, Max-0.4 b) Aniomic detergents (as MBAS), PPM, Max-80 Materials to be supplied at Water Treatment Plant, Garacharma.

Supply of Bleaching powder Grade-I conforming to IS 1065:1989 (reaffirmed 2003) suitable for chlorination of drinking wate packed in Zinc coated drum (ISI) having two liner and tied at end separately with nylon ropes for the protection during transit. The packages used shall be free from dirt or other foreign materials which are likely to cause decomposition of stable bleaching powder (each drum containing 50 Kg quantity) Material to be supplied at Water Treatment Plant, Garacharma.

Supply of Hydrated Lime Grade - C as per IS: 1540 (PART -II ) 1990 (Reaffirmed 2003) white in colour and free from lumps obtained by treating quick lime with water enough to satisy its chemical affirmity for water . The available lime should be minimum 86 % including transportation from source to concern sectional store at Water Treatment Plant, Garacharma as per the direction of Engineer - in - charge.
