Repairs to 200 mm dia. Mild Steel rising main of Lassipora LIS by way of earth excavation wherever necessary by manual means to expose the pipe at the damaged pipe portions. The damaged portion which are the beyond economical repairs are to removed using oxy acetylene gas cutter, then welding departmentally provided MS collar pieces ( L=2.5 ft, dia. =200mm) are to fabricated out of the departmental pipe lying at LIS Unisoo New. [Number of Collar pieces to be fabricated at site=6 No]. Job also includes carriage charges on account of shifting of departmental pipe from LIS Unisoo New to Lassipora LIS. The job includes providing /fitting of Nuts /bolts and rubber gaskets of assorted sizes in these joints. The welded area after the completion of work is to be chipped properly and flux shall be removed to ensure crack free and leak proof joints. All tools, tackles and equipment’s such as tripod stands , welding machine, DG set, hammers and oxy acetylene gas cutters and means of shifting these to site including fuels etc. are included in the job. Job further includes testing of rising mains on full load after repairs. Job includes employing extra labour to carry out machinery (welding set, gas cutters etc.) to repair spots because of non- accessibility to site and hilly terrain. Total No. of spots= 06 No.
