3 : In case two or more banks offer same rate of interest for a slab, preference to the bank(s) shall be given in the following order: a. who allow Lower/NIL Penal Rate on Pre-mature Encashment of FDRs. b. who offer creation of "Multiple FDRs" within the same slab of investment on same day.

4: In case of pre-mature encashment, the Bank hereby agrees to pay maturity proceeds within 24 hours of written communication.

5: Interest on FDRs shall be Compounded Quarterly.

6: CEIL may distribute the Investment Amount among bank(s) based on quoted interest rates, other terms & conditions, CEIL's internal Investible Limits with respective Banks and DPE/DIPAM Guidelines on Investment of Surplus Funds by CPSEs.
