M & L for preparation of old painted steel surface of Almirah Large Steel with shelves by sraping out the old paint by applying paint remover solution, with emary paper, filling metal putty to the uneven surfaces and sanding it again to make the surface smooth and then wipe out the surface and remove the all dust etc with a fine cloth and applying spray painting with two coats of hammer tone paint of approved quality as per existing shade externally and internally after applying and drying one coat of metal primer complete all as specified and as shown on drawing. Material and labour for polishing to Almirah Large Wooden 1/2H 1/2 Shelves (Drg No. DB-4049/4149) by adhering to following steps complete all as specified and as shown on drawing:- a) The wooden surfaces shall be made smooth by sanding the surface with sand paper of about 120 grit in the direction of grains of wood. b) Repeat the process with progrssively finner grains with 180-220 grit sanding paper to make the surface more finer. c) Wipe out the surface and remove the dust with a fine cloth. d) Examine the surface and fill yellow oxide or wood filler/putty in the holes and sand the surface again to achieve a smooth and cleaner surface. e) Wipe it again with cloth and apply a coat of french polish and let it dry. f) Sand the surface again and apply next coat with a soft brush or cloth. g) Let the surface dry completely and apply a clear coat over it for glossy finish surface.
